I started this one before Christmas and it's loosely based on those cosy scenes from 80s and 90s Christmas films where the characters are sat in a diner having a quick coffee during whatever it is they're doing. Also those Lynchian diner moments.

New print in the shop! 3 colour Risograph print of my image ‘Wild Wild West’ Printed in Aqua, Fluo Pink and Fluo Yellow on A4 off-white recycled paper. Limited edition run of 44. Hand signed, numbered and dated. I printed this one myself at a Riso workshop recently.

I made a 3 colour Riso print at the @inkyfingersworkshop at @positivelightprojects 

I wanted to have a go at printing a full CMYK image from colour separations, but decided to stop after 3 colours as the resulting image from the registration of the first 3 colours was already better than I could have hoped, and the chances of ruining it at the last hurdle were too great.

Using a printer from 1989 makes me feel like I’ve brought this late 80s / early 90s nostalgia image full circle.

These were later 2-colour Riso printed, and they came out beautifully.
