Secunda doubled over into a coughing fit. Lyrus flinched and went to her side, worried.

“What’s the matter with you!?” asked Lyrus, his hand tightly gripping her shoulder. “D-do you need a healer?”

Secunda cleared her throat. “I’m trying to do the Velothi throat singing! You weren’t there, Lyrus. It was beautiful.” Then she tried again. “RRRAAAHghhhh—” but was cut off by another coughing fit.

“Zuhni,” Julan sighed. “My love… You sound like a kagouti being strangled. Please stop.”

“But I’m close! I can feel it!”

“I think what you feel are your vocal chords tearing,” said Redyn, laughing.

“Secunda sounds like a dying scrib,” said Silver-Star. Redyn's laughter grew to full guffaws.

“Stop laughing at me!” Secunda shot at Redyn, but her voice now sounded like a creaky old woman. “You'll see, I'll be better at it than Minabibi!”

Julan crossed his arms. “Look, I'm glad you're interested in my culture, but you need to have Nibani or Sinnammu teach you.”

“Please,” said Lyrus, wincing with concern and perhaps pain still from his injuries. “Before you give yourself irreparable damage.”

Secunda swallowed and made a face. “I taste blood.”

“That's it.” Julan glared. “No more until proper lessons. Or I'm casting a silence spell on you.”

Secunda heaved a dramatic sigh, but conceded and nodded.

Did you know if you have an mp3 player that supports ebooks, you can put all your favorite ao3 works on it?! I just learned this, so know I must share!

Here's how to do it:

1. Have an mp3 player that supports ebooks. If you don't have one, they are relatively cheap on Amazon.

2. On your computer, go to a work on ao3 and click the 'Download' button on the top right. Download as an .html file, then open the file.

3. Select the whole work by pressing ctrl+A, then 'copy'. Then paste into a separate document. If you want, backspace all the tags.

4. Save the document as a .txt file.

5. Connect your mp3 player to the computer however you do. Create a new folder 'Books' (or whatever you want). Move the .txt file to that folder.

I actually came up with this oc at the beginning of this year but I didn't know how to make her fit with my other already existing Elder Scrolls ocs, so I kind of dropped the idea - UNTIL NOW 😭 Anyway, here's my girl Elenya, aka.
