"I got us a double date, please don't steal both of their attention this time."

"Would you tell a diamond not to twinkle? For the sun not to shine?" she remarked clutching her breast pocket. "For shame Yunuen! For shame! Alas, I will abide by your rule but do try to keep up next time this happens"

“You’re right, Kaoru! I’d forgotten such an important fact. I am a knight, no matter if I have a master or not. I should remember to hold my head high and keep that thought in mind.” Even as he was planning to extort someone for money because a very shady fellow had hired him to do that.

“I’ll be quick as a flick, old friend. I’ll show you just how good of a knight I am by doing this job as quickly as possible. I’ll come back, okay? Promise.” And he left running in the rain, without the umbrella.

“That’s the spirit ol’ chum ! With your spirit and drive you’ll be able to face anything that comes your way !” she clasped onto both of his shoulders a smile curling at her glossed lips. “Please come back as soon as possible ! My employer is quite cranky if he is to wait” she waved away at him completely forgetting he’d be soaked upon return.

Closing the door behind her she was met with the same dimmed venue smelling of alcohol as usual. Kaoru set her now closed umbrella next to the door making her way towards the back office, knocking a few times before entering.

Chisato laughs as Kaoru complains about her cruelty- It was somewhat funny, really, after everything. She shakes her head when Kaoru mentions that she’s taking it well, sighing softly… “Well, I do need to play the adult in the room, Kaoru. As much as I love Pastel✽Palettes, well…” They could all be troublesome in different ways. Particularly Hina, with Aya and Eve to a lesser extent- Maya had her moments too, but she wasn’t nearly as bad. “You go to Haneoka. You must know how your dear student council president can be… I feel bad for Tsugumi-chan, honestly. I also learned to keep my more negative emotions suppressed a long time ago… But I think you know that.”

                 “Is that what you desire Chisato?” she smiled softly at the other. Kaoru could hardly remember a time when Chisato acted “immature”. Was it truly a need or something she was forced into? Kaoru wished the other could let someone take over responsibilities so she can relax fully. If anyone deserved time to unwind it was her. “Ah Hina-san she is the life of the party one would say. Her energy is quite contagious is it not?” she was a burst of fireworks nothing stopping her from exploding once set out to launch.

She takes a sip of her wine as she can see she was starting to have a bit of a panicked reaction. Which was something she anticipated, and she soaked in the fear and confusion on her face. She didn’t have any real plans until thinking over what she would respond with to her main question. Kneesocks gave a devious smile. “Don’t you know? I’m here for you..sinner!” She said lying to her, but now this was just getting interesting.
