In my perfect AU world, Gwen’s friendship with Merlin isn’t basically forgotten in like it is in the show’s later seasons and she always makes sure to take time out of her busy Queening schedule to sit down and share some quality time with her bff. Also Merlin is very good at braiding hair and making sure Gwen is up on the castle gossip.
