I think making character playlists is good for you and connected to analysis skills in a very fun way and low investment way. I know its seen as quite trivial but to me it operates the same way looking at a lot of art builds ur skills passively. Yummy enrichment activity

just had a cute floriaster fic idea and opened my little pocket notebook to jot it down I found that I had. already written that fic idea down for linnet and kestrel.
the idea for both of them was “surprise birthday party even though neither of them have birthdays” the difference is.
florian/aster -> florian throws a small surprise party for aster after researching a Lot about what birthdays are and how to celebrate them, because aster is very interested in that sort of thing! they’re already dating and he worked very hard on this to do something special for them
linnet/kestrel -> they are Just Friends. linnet bought kestrel a gift without thinking and then was like “fuck I can’t just give him a Gift that’ll look like I like him….. when is it acceptable to give someone a gift” and then decides that today is kestrel’s birthday and also gets him cake and makes a whole little thing of it. (this does not make it look like he doesn’t like him.)
