Hey, remember when I wrote that absurdly long species swap fanfic about what would happen if the beta kids were trolls who played Sgrub and fucked up the human universe with a deadly glitch? And then way late in the story the ancestors show up all mysteriously still alive? Yeah, I figured it’s time to finally draw those alpha babies and their troll designs, so here’s Gadabout and Shepherd, better known to their friends as Jake and Jane respectively.

Jake’s outfit isn’t far removed from his canon counterpart’s because he’s still all about comfy adventuring clothes. Jane abandoned casual wear after she became second-in-command to the empress, so I based her outfit on a mix between Mindfang and Crocker Tier.

Jake and Jane are moirails who understand each other very well because they both regret all of their life choices. :’)
