“Umm, hello?” Anita spoke slowly in broken Japanese. “I, umm, I need help to get to the cafeteria. Do you speak English?”

It was such a shame that she didn’t give a shit.

She smiled for the television cameras and posed for a few action shots that were going to trend on social media (according to the KaibaCorp employee). She even pretended to be interested when some ambassadors taught her how to play. The game was too complicated and, frankly, had ugly art. Who would want to play this? But she nodded and smiled like she always did.

I worry lady mother will find this journal. She’s already quite upset with me having Link as part of my royal guard. I just... I trust him more than these strangers father hired out. 

I’m not allowed to take part in politics anymore. Apparently men don’t like it when their wife talks to them about current affairs. How am I supposed to be queen when I don’t know what’s going on? This is my kingdom, not theirs.

I worry the court knows Link gave me a green gown before I appeared before them again. I made sure I was clean before I returned, and they have not questioned my maidenhood. I just... I wish we could do that again, but there are too many eyes on us.

She hoped to God that whoever she picked wasn’t a weirdo. She gently tapped on someone’s shoulder and took a deep breath.

“Hi, my name’s Anita and I was wondering if you have some free time for an interview over lunch? My treat, of course.” The lunch part wasn’t included with the assignment, but Anita just wanted to get her hands on a milkshake to freeze her brain enough for her to forget how awkward this was.
