Rose Water is My Religion
No, really. I have a shrine built for it on my skin.
Ok, my little noobs. Let’s talk about rose water and why I worship it: rose water is a gift to humankind and it’s the closest thing to a miracle drug there is (even though it’s not a drug). And honestly, I feel that it is not talked about enough for the absolute beauty that it is.
Woah there, A! What’s so special about rose water?
Well, I’m glad you asked! Here’s what some things that are special about rose water:
It can get rid of zits faster than you can say ‘Holy crickets!’
Got a giant zit that’s bigger than your face and don’t know what do to? Spray it with some rose water and voila! Watch that ugly slugger disappear in just a few hours. Don’t believe me? Give it a try yourself. I promise results! (You can also just wet a cotton ball or tissue in rose water and dab it on your ginormous zit.)
It can get rid of dark circles and reduces/prevents eye puffiness.
Soak cotton pads in rose water for a few minutes and then leave these pads on your eyes for at least 15 minutes. Poof! Puffy eyes are a goner. If you repeat this on a daily basis, you are sure to get rid of dark circles over time.
It revitalizes, hydrates, and moisturizes your skin and leaves it with a refreshing glow.
Keep rose water in a spray bottle and spray your face with it throughout the day. It contains Vitamins A and C as well as antioxidants. It also has natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

But, A, how can something be so absolutely perfect and have no negative sides? You tell me, my noob friend! I keep waiting for the day that someone announces to me that rose water has some deadly toxins in it because one thing couldn’t possibly have this many benefits and have no catch to balance it out. But for now, I believe that the universe decided to give us a beautiful gift and I am more than happy to accept it!
