Good for you, kid. Fuck boys.Â
-
Aha, right? I suddenly understand why girls date older guys.Â
attireevesâ:
O-M-G no wayyyy. What did he sayyy?!
Oh shushh! But he wanted me to come over. At 11:43 at night. So, you know, heâs a real top of the line gentleman.Â
kelsbuchsâ:
You should remove him so when he checks back, he sees the little gray x. That would really stick it to him.Â
Mm, yeah. Thatâs a good idea. He just makes it so obvious Iâm a booty call. Doesnât even tryyy to act like he really wants to hang out, not that I would anyways, but you know what I mean.
annistonmabelâ:
Ooh, whoâs Will? Fill me in!
-
Oh man, well, heâs one of my ex-boyfriends and he is the equivalent of getting gum stuck on your shoe...or in your hair. He wonât leave me alone. Super annoying. Agh, anyways, Iâm Rory!Â

Eh, why not? Deal. Hey, did I tell you I bought some new things for my new car? I got this steering wheel cover and these custom air fresheners. Theyâre really cool.
momnoraâ:
Maybe we can push that back until ten.

orionrothâ:
Orion dropped her bag on the floor, under the bar at the island. Her hair was thrown into a messy ponytailâshe hadnât fixed it since practice. Pulling open the door to the fridge, Orion went right for the alfredoâher favorite. She wasnât a big fan of red sauce and she wasnât quite in the mood for pesto. âOhâŚâ Orion made a face. Qâs alfredo was never good, and everyone told him so but he still ate it. Disappointed, Orion set that tub down. She felt the warmth of Sorenâs hand on top of her head in the way big brothers do sometimes. She gave both her brothers a smile and grabbed the plain buttered pasta and the big bottle of the shaker parmesan cheese. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Wren stick a cigarette between his lips, and she let her eyes close in a moment of frustration before turning back to Rory. Not bothering to warm the pasta up, Orion portioned out some cold penne and threw on some salt and parm. She sat at the kitchen island with a fork and slumped over as she ate. âMy coach is starting weigh-ins again, and he said Iâm too heavy to fly again this year, so Iâm back to being a base. Then he sat there for twenty minutes making us tumble over and over again, and now heâs saying my full looks sloppy, which is not the truth at all. He just as some personal vendetta against me,â Orion said, getting mad at her pasta as she stabbed each piece with her fork so hard they ripped in half. âSorry,â she said after taking a deep breath. âIâm just frustrated I drive an hour there and back every night to be treated like garbage.â
Rory admired Orion for doing her own thing. In Noraâs home, though she encouraged everyone to be unique and find themselves, oftentimes, peopleâs hobbies were a little repetitious. You had the musically-inclined famous boys, Milaniaâs beloved dancers, the under-the-radar stoners, the Whoops Ledges teenagers, the recovering AA still-smoke-cigarette young adults, the LGBTQ+ crowd, the young, cool mothers, and that was really about it. There wasnât any clique for cheerleaders, so Orion said screw it, and she created one. Granted, it was just her, but she was still cool. Rory didnât understand cheerleading too much, but tumbling was something she could get behind. Before coming to Noraâs, Rory competed in gymnastics and she was pretty good. Now, her standing back tuck was just a party trick. She knew her parents would probably be sick hearing that after imaging how much money they fished over for her for all of those years. âI had an old gymnastics coach who would purposely order our team leotards too small so weâd have to lose weight or not fit into them,â Rory said, scrunching her nose, âAnd I was likeâŚten. She was crazy.â She finished frosting the last few cupcakes of the batch and decided on green sprinkles to decorate them with. She wasnât sure if Will was a sprinkle guy, but Rory liked them so she made the executive decision just to use them anyways. âNobody says youâve got to stay at that gym forever. Just âcause theyâre good or have a popular name, sure, but isnât your happiness important? You donât want to lose your passion for it, you knowâŚburnout or whatever.â
I always wanted my own room and my own bed. We moved so much, I could never get comfortable. I can sleep just about anywhere now, though.Â
Your own room is a far off dream, and I think youâll be bunking with my little sister, Gigi. I bet youâll get along really good. Iâm Rory.Â
