Just rolling around

“The simplest thing as telling someone you’re here for them and that you love them, and that they’re not a disappointment and they’re not alone goes a far way and I think sometimes we’re so caught up in ourselves that we don’t even see that people struggle and I think we have to open our hearts a little bit more and open our minds and see like ‘Hey you know what, I haven’t heard from this friend in a while, like I’m gonne reach out to him or her 'cause maybe they’re struggling’ and if we do a little but more of that people won’t feel so alone here and I think that’s what it comes down to: not feeling loved, not feeling like you fit in, not feeling like you’re a part of something. My sport is bigger than just the game, it brings people together and if I can bring people together and make them feel a part of something, bigger than themselves, then I’m doing my job.”
