I enjoy RPing smut at times, but not all at once. It can get confusing if multiple RPs are on a sex scene, so I’ll cockblock our characters or ignore replying all together until another smut scene is finished up.

I really like roleplaying with my current partner, but I feel like they treat me too much like the old person they rped with who had the same muse. They talk about them a lot and try to add things into our rps that they used to do. Please don’t assume that just because another Rper with the same muse is okay with something every Rper of that muse is as well. It can be really awkward and uncomfortable.

i have a really obscure ship that i love, so i made two twitter accounts for those two characters and have been RPing with myself as them because im romantic garbage. i RP with others on both accounts, and so far, no one has noticed

I’m in love with an OC my rl boyfriend is playing. Sometimes, when I’m with him I think about the character instead of the real person. I think that if he ever stopped playing the character we would have to break up. We have been dating for 4 years.

I really like rping but sometimes when the person that I am rping with doesn’t reply it makes me feel like I did a bad job

I am so horrified by the whitewashing I keep seeing in the rp community. I am in one rp that just accepted an extreme example of such whitewashing. I can barely bring myself to log on and I don’t know what to do! I hate to abandon my character and ships but I am so upset with the admin right now for accepting this character.

I genuinely think it is harder to write a well-rounded and interesting female character.

I am dying to play opposite a funny female character. Why is it so hard to find? I know tons of funny women in the real world. Stop relying on the sexy faceclaim and make my boy laugh! He’ll adore you to the ends of the earth.

Sometimes I choose unpopular faceclaims just to weed out those who ship based on faceclaim. If someone wants to ship with one of my babies, I tell them to play any faceclaim they like.

Appless rpgs often look interesting but I refuse to join them on principle. It may be unfair but I can’t help but think that if you are too lazy to write an application then you are probably too lazy to be a consistent or loyal rp partner.

I hate to say it but I struggle with female characters. I want to write with them but most of the time they are either practically perfect or completely difficult and bitchy. Whenever I find an awesome female character, I am all over it from friendships to romance to smut. But my character is not going to constantly interact with someone who is mean to him and perfect characters provide no plotting ground.

I love it when I people tell me they like my roleplaying of a character. I always doubt myself, so it brings up my confidence a little when I hear stuff like that. It makes me feel all warm and tingly inside!

I’d like to make a roleplay blog for my ‘fandomless’ OC, but I have a problem. They’re not from a fandom, but from their own world. Since no one knows that world, I would just be roleplaying crossovers all the time, and I’m very iffy about those because I’ll very possibly be interacting with a character I know nothing of. I don’t want to do that, and would rather stick to characters of their own universe, but that’s not going to happen. I’m confused about what to do. Help?

I hate when people start up shit with other RPers. Sometimes it’s because someone said something the other didn’t like, or maybe they openly bashed on the other in a vent or hate post, but it’s got to stop. You’re mature enough not to do stupid things to make others mad at you, and if you’re the victim of such a person, you’re mature enough to talk to them nicely about it, hopefully fix the problem, and not start more shit. If you’re not, please get off the Internet.

I always feel uncomfortable about characters who are immoral or deranged. If your character is racist, homophobic, insane, a murderer, or worse (I’ve RPed with a character who turned out to be a cannibal before, then blocked the person immediately), please get them the hell away from me.
