Act 1 - The Error of Unimminence

Roguebent is going to be on a pause for about the next month or so. This isn't a permanent break, and shouldn't be super long.

The first reason for this is pretty simple: I have a lot of exams in June, so I need the time and energy to focus on them. When we get to the summer, there will be plenty of time to finish Act 1, but for now it's easiest to put it on hold until I'm less busy.

Reason 2 is that we ran out of stuff. A lot of the panels and all of the writing for Act 1 was made ahead of time, before it started being posted last year. The missing sections (the harp flash, several hero mode panels, and some unfinished sprites like Altair's lusus) were added in as we went, mostly just before or a little after the deadline. This is also the reason the update posted today didn't come out a week ago when it was scheduled: not all the panels were drawn until yesterday.

However, of the remaining panels, only about 20% of them have been drawn. We'd need some time to make them, even if the update schedule were to continue as planned.

Finally: two of the pages in the remainder of Act 1 are flash pages. We've made some of these before, but they were generally simple, and these are more complex. And both of them are almost entirely un-started, so we have to take the time to make them before continuing.

This also unfortunately means we won't be able to keep my plan of ending Act 1 on the same day it started, but that's alright. I think we've done pretty well on a schedule of about 2 updates a week for most of a year.
