Heaven Sent

Part One

As most of you know, I've been tracking the floppy belt tip that appears regularly on Aidan, whether he's in character or not. I've collected a bunch of photos as evidence, which I'll share in three parts. Most of these are from Rivals; some are official promotional pictures; others are shots from behind-the-scenes. Nearly all of them feature the lovely woven belt that I've used for the title card, above. This must be the biggest belt he has? No idea.

However, I have found older photos that make it clear this quirk is not a recent development.

Just the tip! An older photo; I think this was from an interview during the Poldark years (?). It's a solid leather belt this time, but it's still poking out there, proud of itself.

Strutting through Corinium with Tony and Cameron, this is an official photo from the first season of Rivals. It's the woven belt again, and the flop isn't too dramatic, but it's still present.

Here he is in the wild with the solid leather belt not fitting properly. This looks like Inishmore-era, if I had to guess.
