The Masters of the Universe movie had this awesome synthwave, 80's vibe throughout, my favorite part was when Skeletor metaphysically drags He-Man through his pathetic life on Earth, upon seeing his HR workplace Skeletor states, with shock and disgust, "What even is this place."
Backrooms, I've worked in liminal spaces for years, unoccupied office buildings, empty warehouses and factories, vacant apartments, so I found the movie strangely mellow and comforting, best lines, the therapist, something like "I don't know. I can't save you. I can't save anybody"
Been listening to a lot of Robert E. Howard audiobooks at work. And, now they're saying Arnold will finally be back with King Conan. Can't wait.
Got a patch at the Wednesday the 13th showing of American Werewolf In London, from Fangoria Staff Picks, which also included an interview with Rick Baker afetr the credits.

Samara Weaving breaking out some Electric Keyboard Fu in Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come.
Went to see Markiplier's Iron Lung today, got one of the last seats that wasn't in the front row, the theater shut down all the lights, except for the exit signs, which was awesome.
Watching John Woo's Hard Boiled. Here we see Tequila waiting to the last minute to load his shotgun, 'cause it's much cooler that way.
Sisu: Road to Revenge, in which a Finnish soldier takes revenge on the whole Red Army for murdering his family, while getting fucked up beyond belief, Korpi also loses a really cool six wheeled truck, but in the face of literally everything, recovers the wood from his farmhouse.
Predator: Badlands, wanted a Predator fighting alien creatures, strange alien planets, etc, which the movie delivers on, not perfect, but I liked it.
Pictured, Dek has found a Hollywood screenwriter, I have long suspected that most new movies are written by broken robots

Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, which I got to see on Halloween at the post-apocalypric theater, of all places, apparently, I was one of the lucky ones who actually got to see it in a theater.
Always impressed by Demon Slayer. They put about 40 hours worth of entertainment into Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle's two and a half hours. Shown is a set of cards they gave out at the 4DX screening, which I barely survived.
Primitive War, something I've wanted to see on a big screen for years, dinosaurs vs humans with modern weapons, weapons the dinos are not the least bit afraid of, merciless, hundreds strong dino wave attacks, dinos trashing armored vehicles and graphically eating people...chaos.
Finally got to see Joe Begos' awesome Jimmy and Stiggs, which looked like it was a lot of fun to make, though I'm guessing Begos is not getting the security deposit back on the apartment, thanks to Eli Roth's The Horror Section for getting this into theaters.
"I dreamt music."
"I didn't know if I could play."
"I remember lessons. I don't know if it's me, or Tryell's niece."
Went to see Blade Runner, 1982.

Went to see Weapons Thursday night, after a long 12 hour shift, which added to the ominous, disquieting vibe. Excellent writing washed the taste of mediocre superhero movies out of my mind. See it with a crowd of normies, great reactions. One of the jump scares actually got me.
Between Sink Your Teeth: A Tokyo Ghoul Celebration, and Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death I may have overdosed on anime for the week, not a bad feeling, really.
