Class is cancelled because of snow. Or so they say.

You've lived this day before.

Your peers post the announcement of the cancellation on their social media. On the surface it is a celebration, when deep down you know it is a warning.

There's a knock on the door. No one's there when you open it, and no footprints in the snow.

You don't drive. The ones who skid off the road are never seen again.

The snowmen seem to appear out of nowhere. You haven't seen anybody outside to build them. They move when you aren't looking.

The neighborhood children sled down the hill. Only some of them come back up.

You hear the shoveling of snow, but none of it has been cleared.

The fireplace crackles. You don't remember turning it on.

You tell your friends that you love snowdays. "They're cozy" you say, "I like watching the snow fall while I'm warm in the house". You're really just too afraid of what is waiting for you outside.

You hear a car slip on the ice on the road behind your house. You know they will be feasted on.

This snow is just like every other, so why was class cancelled today?

What's out there? You're tempted to find out.

There's a snowman in your yard. Who built it? You couldn't have. You decide to stay inside.

The weather is the same the next day, but class is in session. They must have left.

Hello! I'm surprised about how many followers we've gotten in the past week or so since we started this blog. There are two of us running this and tbh it's been real fun so far!

Remember to follow the order and never try to escape

No outside the wall can help, no outside the wall knows where to find you anyway

And never ask one question…

You lock all the doors day or night. You tell yourself and others it's so no person can break in, but you know you're protecting yourself from something much worse.

The house ghost watches you from the top of the stairs, disappearing when you look in it’s direction.

It’s eerily quiet.

You thought you shut the basement door, but it’s always open when you walk by again.

What is that sound?

Your dog stares down the hallway and whines at nothing.

You know there’s something.

You go down to the basement to get something. There’s a being at the end of the hall. You are paralyzed. Its eyes stare into your soul as it approaches you. When it gets close it disappears.

You feel different and go back upstairs without grabbing your item.

You don’t even bother shutting the basement door.

There’s blood on the kitchen counter. You ignore it.

Suddenly it’s dark out. How long were you in the basement?

You close the curtains and blinds, knowing they don’t stop anything that truly wants to see inside.

The front door isn’t locked anymore.

Your favorite show goes to commercial, so you go to the kitchen to grab a drink. You come back to the TV playing static. The channel hasn’t changed. You sit and watch anyway.

The being from the basement has replaced the house ghost’s spot at the top of the stairs. It doesn’t let you go.

There’s a knock on the door. You realize every door was knocked on at the same time.

You haven’t seen your dog in a few hours, but you hear it whining from a location you can’t get to.

Your family member gets back home, they look different from when they left. An entirely new face.

They shut the basement door.

The dog greets them, tail wagging.

The TV plays the news.

The kitchen counter is blood free.

“Why are the curtains closed?”

They open them. Sunlight pours in.

•Leave all your belonging outside the door

• If you take anything in you won’t ever get it back

• Don’t force open any locked doors, they’re locked for a reason

• Bring string to help you find your way out, or you’ll never be able to leave

• If you see children try to ignore them, they’re not human

• Watch for the janitor and make sure he never sees you, if he sees you he’ll hunt you after you leave

• Stay out of the morgue, you’ll be stuck in a work other than your own

• Never sleep in the building, you may never wake up from your slumber

• If you see residual patients leave them alone, and don’t ever try to help them leave

• Before you leave check all your pockets, they will leave things in there

• Don’t visit the building more than twice a month, and never in the same week

If you go alone, don't bring a flashlight. You'll see things you don't want to.

Don't bring groups bigger than 12.

Bring water and some snacks, but no wine.

If you have to sleep there, sleep in the sanctuary, but not on a pew.

If you try to read the hymnal, the words won't be english anymore.

The Bibles will be blank until you confess.

Don't go into the confession booth. The man talking to you is not the priest, and you don't want to know what he really is.

The cross on the wall changes locations, don't look at it for too long.

If you see someone praying at the altar, don't approach them. If they approach you, don't talk to them. Leave immediately.

If you hear the organ playing while you're in the basement, know that your time is running out.

If it plays while you're in the sanctuary, your time is up.

Take whatever you want, but if you find that one of your possesions is missing, don't look for it. Let them have it. It's not worth your life.

If you find a rosary, don't put it on. It won't help.

The water isn't holy anymore. Throwing it on the demons in the shadows won't work.

Drink the wine if you wish to never leave.

Don't get seperated from your friends.

If you spend the night, leave at sunrise otherwise you'll enter another plane of reality with no way back.

If you don't spend the night, leave through the doors you came in.

You might look behind you after leaving and see that the church isn't there anymore. It means that they took what they wanted.

It’s pitch black outside and you swear it’s the middle of the night. How could it only be 5:30?

You check your backseat to make sure no one’s in your car before you get in. You lock the doors before you start driving. Apparently you didn’t look long enough.

The same car passes you over and over again. It turns the opposite direction at every intersection. You find it parked in your driveway when you get home.

Where were you headed again? You’re on autopilot when you realize you don’t know where you are anymore. It’s too dangerous to turn around.

You make the mistake of looking in your rear view mirrors too many times.

You merge onto the highway and you’re the only car in sight. You feel eerily alone.

But they watch from the shadows.

Nobody sees their glowing eyes.

“They’re just parking lights. Cars pulled over on the side of the road”

Why does no one see them?

Was that a man or a cryptid? You keep driving after they run in front of you.

The radio plays the same song on repeat. The host sounds like he’s being held against his will. You can’t bear to listen but you can’t bear the consequences of silence, either.

You left an hour ago.

You should be there by now.

•you know where your classes are without even looking, when did you pass the bridge doors?

•there’s a social studies teacher that looks young and old at the same time. You never see him outside of his classroom, but sometimes he’s not there either.

•passing periods are another plane of reality. Everyone is different, but when you look closer everyone looks the same.

•the people at security never look up when someone walks in. You wonder if that’s how the school got infested.

•maybe they’re part of it.

•Faust might be an alcoholic. His dog has gotten drunk... twice.

•Grandview is a mirror of CT, you wonder if the people are mirrors too.

•Dictator Rauh left and you haven’t heard of her since. But you still don’t know the name of your current principle.

•You don’t know the name of the freshman class. Class of twenty twenty-who?

•people walk slowly, when you pass they appear to walk with a normal gate.

•you flat tire someone in the hall by accident and look up to apologize. The person is no longer there.

•you swear you hear someone call your name. You shouldn’t have looked behind you.

•the girls who want there to be a Mrs. CT have no sense of humor.

•leadership believes they're superior to you. You start to believe it too.

•leadership tries to sell you a Wish Week shirt. You're afraid of what happens if you don't buy one. They say you're helping a good cause, but the look in their eyes makes you feel like it's darker than that. Momma J has to get her power from somewhere. You give them $10 and convince yourself that you're committing to a cause bigger than yourself.

•not enough “Be Kind” shirts are made. You are treated like you’re an awful person when you don’t receive one. You’re their prey.
