You burn inside my memory so well

So I've never posted about Stranger Things on this blog before, I have been watching the show for just over 6 years. I wasn't expecting it to be my kind of thing, but got obsessed with it super quickly and it's now one of my favorite shows.

(Also sorry I've not been active on here for a while, I accidentally became important at work)

These are my personal views about s5, please respect my opinions.

I'm so glad they gave Will a much bigger part in the series, after kind of ignoring him in s3 and s4. The scene where they reveal his powers was one of the best seasons in the whole show.

It sort of felt everyone was saying similar things or speaking a similar way in a lot of scenes.

Winona Ryder made this show famous, and they completely sidelined her this season.

I'm not much of a Byler shipper, and i wasn't expecting it to 'happen', but I at least thought the writers would address it better and the way they dismissed Will's feelings for Mike as a silly crush that he could easily get over was just wrong and not they'd been suggesting for the past seasons.

Give Jamie Campbell Bower all the awards omg he was phenomenal.

I don't really mind that there weren't more main character deaths, but there should've been at least a few injuries or something to keep the tension.

I'm really disappointed about El's ending. If I could only choose one character who really deserved a happy ending, it would be her. This whole thing about how she was supposed to represent 'the magic of childhood' or whatever so she 'had' to leave was messed up. She's a person, not a concept, but ok.
