           “you know you don’t have to scream for that---” he opened his arms. “but i am going to bed, i need to get sleep for work in the morning.”

          “you’re easy on the eyes, if that’s what you want to hear.” he could easily look at the other’s face as long as he was given.

          “i thought you might say that...” he sighed lightly but there was still a smile on his face. “will you at least scream outside where you can bother the neighbors instead?”

          “you.” short. straight. and to the point.

          “ed...go to bed.”

          “then i guess i’ll need to go back to the store to get more things to bandage you up when you get into fights.” though he didn’t want to keep seeing the other get hurt, there was no helping it. might as well be prepared than anything. 

          “because there are much better ways to feel things that don’t include hurting yourself or others.” did edward really not see how he affected the one’s around him? “do you really want to come home everyday with blood on your hands?”

          “why? just...why would you even think that way? can you just..not fight for once in your life? i’d rather not have to keep buying bandages because you can’t seem to keep your fists to yourself.”
