“I’m pregnant, not on the verge of death!” Alice started, eyebrows raised at the other. Of course, she did take her pregnancy very seriously, but if she was still allowed to work, then what bad could a little, tiny adventure could be? “Come on, you’re not going to let me go alone? I mean, if you’re really that scared for me.”

“Well, it’s not really my jurisdiction when it comes to what the Ministry says you can and cannot do, but if you are dying to get out from behind that desk, I’ll at least pose as your body guard. If I’m being honest, I’m not so much worried about you. I’m worried about the other people.”

Robert frequented the pub regularly over the last few months. Through word of mouth, he heard that this was the place to be amongst his own kind, and when he crossed the shabby, little door and sat in the teetering, almost broken stool, he ordered a drink and glanced around. He was always vigilant, though he suspected only a complete idiot would ever coerce on private matters here. It was too crowded, and there were too many ears.

The agent took a sip from his drink and went to stand to wander somewhere else in the pub when he felt his chair bump into the person behind him. He turned around, smiling apologetically. “Hey, sorry about that. So many people are here tonight. I’ve never seen it this busy on a Tuesday before.”

Biography:

*Note: Most people wouldn’t know this, considering his connection with the American government and he keeps his family secret for their own safety; though he does not hide that he works for the MACUSA; despite his real name being Andrew, for all purposes, he will be written as Robert*

   Robert was the first born out of four children, though he was the only born from his mother’s first marriage. His three brothers were the quick results of his mother’s even quicker marriage to a non-maj stock broker, but despite being the only pureblood sibling, he never went without or was neglect. He began showing magical abilities at the young age of six, but they were nothing more than sparks. 

   He had a normal childhood, being raised between his mother in Boston and his father, who lived in upside New York; though, there always seemed to be a tension in the household when it came to the boys’ schooling. His stepfather wanted the boys to experience a nonmagical life, while his mother wanted them to at least decide for themselves. Eventually, it was split down the middle. Robert, naturally, went to Ilvermorny alongside the third brother, Jonathan. Wesley and Nick went through public schools and eventually onto college, rejecting the magical community.

   At Ilvermorny, Robert was more interested in chasing girls and playing sports than learning, and though he passed his coursework, he was always told that if he put forth the effort, he could have made better grades. Nevertheless, he graduated as a Wampus alumni, and he moved to New York to live with his father, who helped him begin the process of becoming an agent with the Magical Congress.
