Bones had just opened up shop for the day, but since it was so early, he wasn’t expecting any customers quite yet. Picking up a box, the robot began carefully restocking the shelves, mentally berating himself for not finishing the chore last night. A few minutes had passed when the shop’s bell rang, startling Bones into nearly dropping the last few potions.
Sounding a bit flustered, he called out: “[My apologies, I’ll be out in just a moment!]” and hurried to put the last few potions away.
"[Once again, I apologize. I was not expecting anyone here so early!]” Bones said, dipping his head as he hurried into the main shop, “[How can I help-?]”
Cutting himself off at the sight of the other’s injuries, the robot quietly hissed in sympathy. That sparking did not look good.
“[Ah, may I take a look at that injury, as to make suggestions for what may help? Or do you already have specific parts in mind?]”
since these seem to go around faster, please like/reblog if you’re down for interacting with a terrifying ancient child soldier turned modern day national terror, who’s stupidly overpowered and the personification of truth and justice !! verity is an old oc with a lot of background lore and development. (trigger warnings for war, child abuse and ritual abuse in their backstory.)

A Poison turned Sweet (closed RP)
@robothecary
((continued from here))
“Okay, I’ll call you Doc then,” she replied, managing to give him a small smile. That smile vanished once she glanced down at her arm. She gasp and turned away, shutting her eyes tight in aversion. She fought to open her eyes again to talk with Doc but kept her face turned in the opposite direction, refusing to look at her wound.
“U-um.. If it’s not too much trouble, I.. um.. I wouldn’t want to pass out again and I.. I don’t.. um..” Clearly the answer was no and she’d need some help cleaning her arm.
“[Don’t worry, it’ll be no trouble at all.]” Bones soothed.
“[Now, if you could follow me this way-]” He said, gently leading Shojo by the arm over to a different section of the kitchenette. Ducking down, he squinted into the cabinets for a moment, before letting out a small “[Aha!]” and pulling out a clear bottle, a couple of small rags, and pair of tweezers.
Gently taking her arm, the bot focused in on her wound, searching for any larger pieces of debris. The pupil on his screen grew and spun slowly as he scanned, before going back to normal. Humming thoughtfully, Bones looked up at the woman and said: “[There’s some pieces of gravel that I need to remove. I’ll do my best to make sure it won’t hurt, but I just wanted to give you a warning in advance.]”

//A lil map of the Robothecary! Yes, the table do indeed float. Also those lil X's are where customers aren't allowed to go past. That whole area is inscribed with a minor 'Notice-me-not' enchantment, while the break 'room' has a much stronger one. //The break area is also an unofficial medbay, and where Bones treats his patients :)

Hearing the door’s bell chime, Bones paused, a potion in hand.
“[Oh! My apologies, I’ll be with you in a moment.]” He said a bit sheepishly, hurriedly re-stocking the shelves.
Quickly walking to the other side of the room, the robot places the final potion down with a satisfied sigh. Waving to the newcomer, he says: “[I apologized once more, I was a bit caught off guard by having someone this early. How can I help you today?]”
Taking a better look at the stranger, Bones was a bit curious about the stranger’s choice of wear, but brushed off the thought. Seeing the injury, he winced slightly and walked closer.
“[Ah, may I take a better look at that injury of yours? I may be able to make some recommendations based on what I see.]” The robot asked, tilting his head.
kyaaanite:
The stranger nodded, standing up straight before slowly removing his hand from his upper arm.
A hole had been torn into the fabric of his grey coat, and underneath it was a complex mass of tiny gears, rods and orbs made of steel and glass. It looked like something had shot or chopped into the mechanism, as a few parts were bent out of shape or shaken loose. Sparks emanated from the damaged area.
Even though this was technically an apothecary and not a repair shop, if it was run by robots it was bound to have something for machines, not just for organic beings, right? At least, that had been his line of thinking.
“I can’t use my left arm,” the man clarified in a metallic voice. “I’d repair it myself, but my laboratory is too far away and I don’t have my tools with me.”
Then, he began taking off his left glove, planning on taking off his entire coat so Bones would be able to see things more clearly.
Humming quietly, Bones squinted at the hole, gently taking the other’s arm and turning it to see better.
“[While most of my shop and programming is catered towards biological beings, I do have some things that can keep you from getting into worse shape as you travel.]” He said after a moment of inspection.
Walking behind the counter and into a door labeled ‘Storeroom’ one could hear his footsteps fading away as he searched. Not to long after, Bones returned holding medium-sized box.
“[There are some things in here that may help, but I’m not sure of how many. Half of these were custom made, so they may not be of any use.]” He said, placing the box on a nearby table, “[I don’t think there’s anything in here that can help with your arm, but there’s a chance that it could. I’m not too sure, and I wish I could express how sorry I am that I’m not able to help you any more than I can.]” He finished sadly, giving the box a slight pat before looking back at the stranger.

Open RP (Multiverse/injury/poison)
robothecary
Around ten minutes or so later, the robot came back into the shop, with several bags of groceries. Upon seeing the woman awake, he quickly placed the groceries on the closest table and speed-walked over.
“[Are you alright miss? Are you feeling any symptoms, nausea, pain, things like that?]” The bot questioned, hands hovering over the bandaged part of her arm.
While he did feel a little bad about not introducing himself, he wanted to make sure the woman was alright first.
The sudden speed of the bot made her flinch as he came near and she cautiously held out her arm for him to look at. Her lip trembled, obviously rather frightened of her surroundings.
“U-Um.. Yes. I mean, yes to everything,” she answered, her voice meek. She swallowed and blinked her glossy eyes. She looked like a lost puppy. “D-Did you heal me?”
“[Oh my. Well, let me get you a bucket just in case. Are there any particular spots that feel the worst?]” He asked, backing up and turning towards a doorway labeled ‘Storeroom’.
About to enter, the robot paused when he heard the question.
“[Indeed, I did! How did you end up so…]” He whirred softly, looking for a better word, “[So injured? That poison was rather strong.]” He finished, ducking into the room for a moment.
Coming back out rather quickly, with both a bucket, and two small potion vials in hand. Setting the bucket next to the woman, He then strolled into a small kitchen-like area, picking up the bag of groceries on the way, and began prepping the food.
“[My apologies if this come out a little strange. An apothecary’s brewing section isn’t a great replacement for a proper kitchen.]” The robot mumbles a bit offhandedly, quietly chopping vegetables.
The woman watched him zoom around the room. Goodness he was fast.
“I-I think it hurts mostly in my arm,” she told him, poking at the bandages. The skin under the bandages had a bizarre smell. She turned away and wrinkled her nose. “I was just walking around. I.. I don’t know where. I was in a forest and I heard something behind me. I don’t know if it was a gun or an arrow or.. or something else but something hit me and I ran. And.. that’s all I remember.”
She paused and thought about his comment with the poison being strong. Her arm still hurt and, if the wound smelled that bad surely it didn’t look good either.
“A-Am I going to die?” she whimpered, her eyes filling with tears.
Humming quietly as he listened, the robot started to look more and more worried as he listened. Sliding the vegetables side and setting a pot onto the burner, he poured a mixture of broth and water into it to boil, then pulled out another pan. Upon hearing the woman’s question, the robot paused and looked at her reassuringly.
“[Of course not! With proper rest and care, you’ll heal right up. It’ll take awhile, and you may feel a bit sick as your body takes care of fighting off the poison, but I can promise you’ll be fine]” He soothed.
Pulling out an onion and some tomatoes, the robot quickly cut them into smaller pieces before placing them-along with a bit of water- in the pan to simmer. Hearing the bubbling pot, the robot took the vegetables and gently slid them in.
That taken care of, the robot turned to the woman and said: “[Now that’ll take awhile to finish. May I take another look at your arm Miss-?”
Watching the bot slice and chop and move about in the kitchen was actually quite a good way to distract from her worries. She rubbed at her crying eyes and blinked back any other tears that threatened to stray down her face. At his request, she offered him her arm to let him examine it.
“My name is Shojo,” she said, finishing his sentence. “I don’t think I caught your name though.”
“[I suppose I never did!]” He nodded, gently taking Shojo’s arm and beginning to unwrap the bandaging, “[Most either call me Doc, or Bone, but my creator called me s4w-b023s.]” He finished, the sound of something a fair bit more electronic rippling through his voice at the last name.
Squinting at the open wound, he nodded in satisfaction. It still looked horrible, but green tinge had stopped spreading, and was slowly growing smaller.
“[Despite how bad this looks, it’s much better than when you first came in. These bandages do need to be changed, and the potions reapplied.]” Bones said happily, before pausing, “[You may want to wash out the wound though. The potion take care of bacteria, but don’t do anything about thing like dirt or gravel. I should’ve done that bit earlier, but I was more worried about that poison.]”
Glancing at the stove, the robot turned back to the woman and continued: “Would you be able to take care of that last part on your own? I know most prefer their privacy when it comes to cleaning up.]”

Seeing that the Robothecary was open, a mysterious figure made his way towards the building before walking inside.
His face was hidden behind a metal mask with a beak shape, his eyes little more than pinpricks of light behind its almost rectangular eye-holes. The rest of his body was hidden underneath a grey lab coat and black gloves and boots, with a hood covering his head.
Around his neck hung a silver necklace with a large oval black gemstone in the middle of a flat octagonal pendant inscribed with geometric patterns and symbols.
His right hand was clasped over his left upper arm, and small white sparks flew out from between his fingers. It seemed he had some sort of injury (or defect?).
His gaze remained pointed at the ground, giving him an even more mysterious air.
Hearing the door’s bell chime, Bones paused, a potion in hand.
“[Oh! My apologies, I’ll be with you in a moment.]” He said a bit sheepishly, hurriedly re-stocking the shelves.
