It didnât feel that peculiar for Zinnia to come upon strange things- and strange beings. The engineer had her fair share of quirky people in her lifetime, and peculiar things. She was the type to believe in the paranormal, and aliens, and mysterious creatures-
But even though she was used to meeting peculiar things, Zinnia hadnât expected something... this peculiar. The engineer watched on quietly for a moment. Sheâd decided to take a vacation out to a far more rural place, and had spent plenty of time outside on hikes to meditate and relax.
But sheâd never seen something so... odd, to her. Large, certainly, and she was almost certain she couldnât be seen from where she was. The book placed in her lap was quietly closed, the engineer watching the creature as it got closer. Her eyes raked over white fur, staying still, unsure of if this would be a threat or not.
And Zinnia- being Zinnia- did the most logical thing, of course, when her eyes met the otherâs red ones.Â
âGreetings.â Simple, casual. Formal, polite, if this creature understood her. She made no motion of moving, although her body was slightly tense in anticipation.Â
