The human hummed, the light vibrations making her thoughts jitter. She could swear her brain was like a broken jar of rubber balls, all of them now out and wildly bouncing around in her skull.
“You had some ideas, right?”
She spoke, hoping she was right. She felt like her short term memory was faulty- That feeling when you place your keys aside, and then immediately cannot find them. That was how she was feeling, but it was with all the plans she made recently. It’s like the earlier conversation with YUL about them never happened.

With several high-resolution cameras overseeing the room that housed its main terminal, YUL was able to pick up not just her every word, but also her every move. And something was clearly off, if comparing her current behavior to the data on her in its database was anything to go by.
And so instead of any explanation or details of the ideas it would’ve wanted to suggest, the text on the AI’s screen consisted of just a single sentence.
