Friends: Celebrating their boyfriends and making sappy Facebook posts

1. How many chapters until this fight concludes and we can say, “That’s the way the Cracker crumbles.”?

2. Gear Fourth is apparently gonna be a regular move now. (Which doesn’t seem like the best idea with Brulee still around and them being lost in the forest, but Luffy does need to go all out to stand a chance against Cracker. Maybe the other 3 will get to shine during the 10 break Luffy needs.)

3. Oda pointing out how all of us have been underestimating the Yonko.

4. Urouge for the win?

5. So while the Straw Hats trained for 2 years the other Rookies were getting the beat down put on them, and reluctantly joining the Emperors. (And Law was just getting more bitter.)

6. Luffy knowing Sanji would never insult/reject his crew, and getting super angry that someone would think otherwise!

7. Nami’s fights continue to be more sexual than necessary. (Like seriously, that’s not the most effective way to grab you enemy. Still not as bad as the Kalifa fight though.)

So with 2 of the original Big 3 now ended there has been a lot of controversy about how the authors handled their serie’s finale. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter.

Well, it’s official. Bleach is over and Ichigo has been given the short haircut that is apparently a mandatory part of your shonen series ending. You face your final battle and save the world, end up with the less popular of your two potential love interests (based on the fandoms’ reactions), have kid, and then cut away the shaggy hair of your youth. 

Who’s the next victim of the timeskip anime dad hair cut? Natsu? Luffy? Gon? Jk, as if One Piece will ever end or Hunter X Hunter ever finish.

Absolutely! :) Here goes.

1.Favorite Character: Nico Robin (If you’ve followed me for any period of time, this is a no-brainer. Also, fun fact, she’s my favorite anime character overall. Utter perfection!)

2. Favorite Straw Hat: Again, Nico Robin

3. Favorite Shichibukai: Probably Crocodile (I really loved him as a villain because he didn’t have some tragic backstory that made him evil, he just was. His actions were always a means to his own end, and I thought that was really refreshing compared to many other anime villains.) 

4. Favorite Arc: Enies Lobby! (Forever the best arc!)

5. Favorite Villain: Miss All-Sunday ;) 

6. Favorite Devil Fruit This is hard so I’m picking one from each classification Logia: Enel’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit, Paramecia: Robin’s Flower-Flower Fruit, Zoan: Marco’s Ancient Zoan

7. Most Hated Character: Hmm, this is hard because there are the character’s who I hate because they’re scumbags, but are actually well-written good characters. Then there are the annoying characters, that are just irritating to see in panels of scenes. I’ll interpret this as the latter, and say Buggy the Clown.

8. Least Favorite Character: Again, basing this on me not liking the character because I don’t enjoy them, not the well-written ones that do horrible things and I dislike for that reason. On that note,  I was never crazy about Bartolomeo.

9. Least Favorite Arc: Fishman Island

10. Least Favorite Straw Hat: This switches depending on how much we see of them, but Franky or Usopp.

11. Favorite Straw Hat Ally: Does Vivi count? Because freaking Princess Vivi Nefertari 

12. Saddest Moment: All of Robin’s moments in Enies Lobby and her backstory. The pinnacle is probably her admitting that her biggest fear is the Straw Hats eventually turning on her and that she’d rather die if that’s her only future.

13. Favorite Moment: Ah! These are hard! There are so many! Um, Luffy listing all the things he can’t do and saying that that’s why he needs his crew during the Arlong Park arc. 

14. Most Hated moment: During the time skip when those people were worshiping Brook as Satan. Although I’m tempted to say one of the Franky and Robin moments just because of how big of a deal people make out of them.

15. Favorite Gear: 2nd Gear. It was my favorite unveiling, had the most impact in the fight it was introduced in, and gives Luffy the coolest power upgrade in my opinion.

16. Favorite Move: Sanji’s Diable Jambe (He always has awesome moments when it’s used, and it looks amazing when animated.)

17. Favorite Soundtrack: Don’t know the names of these, but the one that always plays before big group fights. Like when the Straw Hat guys were walking up to the Franky house. That one.

18. Favorite Opening: Opening 5 “Kokoro no Chizu”. The animation and song I think are perfect for the arcs it was used during. Although the Funimation version of “Believe” is a close second.

19. Favorite Ending: Ending 7 “Glory”, the Funimation Version sung by Caitlin Glass

20. Favorite Ship: Actual: Thousand Sunny, Canon: Kyros and Scarlet, In reality: ZOROBIN! (Favorite anime ship ever and always will be)

Everything about this chapter was adorable! (Except for the Big Mom’s creepy Soul-Soul Fruit powers and the citizens have to give up part of their lives. Those parts were messed up.)

* Luffy actually thinking and being confused about his friends not purposely multiplying

* Luffy wanting apple juice too

* Chopper staying back to fight so Nami could go find Luffy

*Nami being offended when Apple Juice Head said she wasn’t strong (and rightly so)

*Nami thanking Usopp for the improvements to her Clim-a-Tact after they helped her escape

*Apple Juice Head wanting to see Chiffon and Lola

*Nami remembering Lola (can’t wait for whatever comes from this realization)
