i just cycled back into my naruto phase (i.e. rewatching naruto, remembering what happened in shippuden, and trying to figure out wtf is going on in boruto). i also went through all my old sketchbooks from 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2016, took that psychic damage, and redrew some of them here!

If I had a nickel for every trustoworthy adults the sand sibs had growing up I'd be more broke then Suna. Temari trusted her mom (mom died to furthur Rasa's political goals when Temari was like 5), Gaara trusted Yashamaru (lol. lmao) and the only adult Kankuro has EVER trusted was Temari (temari is. 2 years older then him.)
If I was Link, I have no doubt that my first instinct upon seeing a spooky hand fused to me where a bunch of evil goop had just been would be to stab it. Like, that situation just screams “hero slowly succumbs to corruption” to me. Not to mention all of the evil hands enemies in Zelda games. I do not want a Floormaster glued to me thank u very much.
Anyway, comic about it.
Thankfully Rauru is there to tell Link that this particular spooky arm is, in fact, not evil.
