I'm Robin in the Pit, and I am trying to write a fanfiction.

And I'll need help, because I am not good at this. And you are welcome to throw anything at me.

After the break, I'll list all the posts for the Misunderstanding Kid fic so I can document the processes.

Day one, team Z is making a bet on Robert's deal

I need help with who picks what (I'm willing to change what I have)

(None of them saw him in person the entire shift; they only have his name and voice)

The night of Robert's first day, they all make bets to find out his deal

I have no clue who should bet on what

Only have PunchUp and Prism left

Hero- Malevola (Did the granny mission, got a ‘be nice’ lecture for insulting the oldguy),

Hero’s kid-Flambae (Normie getting as close to the hero world as he can), Golem (daddy issue vibes),

Villian-Sonar (hacking ability), Coupe (the public only knows of two active crime syndicates in LA, Robert knows the third, impossible to know unless you were in the group)

He can heal, and it would be funny. Imagine all they needed to help chase was to fully submerge him in Herm's water.

The bar is very empty tonight, good enough for a team debrief about their new dispatcher. Colm sees Coop first; the stony-faced bitch is now slightly solemn. “Oi, Coop, how's the lad’s place. Anything on his hero name?”

“Nothing,” Coop slumps into the bar, “that was depressing.”

“His place was depressing? It must be bad seeing how you and Colm lived.” Prism doesn’t miss the chance to slight them. Coop doesn’t react, only staring into the whisky Colm had slid over to her. “Oh, that bad?”

“Sonar? I thought you were straight?”

“Robert’s House Warming Party? Huh, so the Z-Team is in my house. And I got no texts warning me. I deserve to have some fun.”

The planning was dying down, and the party was going up with the alcohol consumption. Everyone was here, and Robert was feeling decent and very drunk, till the sound of keys unlocking the door immediately sobered him. Fuck, the kid!

As they step in and look around, everyone stops and stares back, Visy pausing the music. Standing there, door ajar, is a young teen who looks much too much like Robert. Making Chase side-eye him.

The kid is the first to speak, “So, Dad? Is this an orgy thing, or can I stay?” The glare Chase gives Robert has so much tension; the entire room follows suit with awkward stress.

Robert stares the kid down, “No orgy, and don’t call me dad. Go... you have homework? Go do your homework in the closet, go.”

The kid shrugs and tosses the bigger bag they had at him. “Managed to get our landray done at the studio, I’ll be at Donnie’s place, see ya.” Then backs out the door, relocking it and loudly walking away.

12-year-old accidentally time-travels back in time.

Decides just to move into Robert's house

Robert comes home with beef to find a strange kid unloading groceries, “What are you doing here?”

“You pay rent, I buy the food, I've got two sleeping bags too.”

They have lived like this for a while

“Time travel? I have a kid?”

“Not really, magic shit made me, and I already erased myself by coming back. DW”

In the OG timeline, some comic book shit happened, and boom bio kid between Robert and Sonar, a little redhead with bat ears. The team got together and raised the kid in a group.

In this timeline, they are Robert's ‘cousin,’ and Robert doesn’t know who the other parent is and doesn’t know the kid is hiding bat ears.

16th Birthday happens when Robert is in a coma, they stay home caring for Beef.

Z-team Misunderstanding built from

-Robert has a roommate (possible lover?)

-They find out it’s a teen (AHHHH!)

-Robert says it’s his cousin, Chase says Robert doesn’t have any living family when asked separately, “What the fuck do you mean he has a teen with him? (Secret teen Dad??) (The timeline says just after Robert II died, and Robert III pushed Chase away, which would be when this kid would have been born. The guilt Chase would feel.)

(Og timeline, the kid was 'made' a long while after the team was formed)

-That’s the assumption for a while, teen dad, Robert. And he hasn’t a way to change their mind.

What the team does ‘know.’

-teen dad

-owns almost nothing

-The kid has been homeschooled somehow, because there aren’t any school records

-No mom on the birth certificate (????)

-Robert says he isn’t the kid's dad

-something happens, and they see under the loose head scarf and see cute brown bat ears and freak out (Edit, changed red to brown because I might be colour blind)
