Her hands reminded folded in her lap, even as Robin moved to eat his own meal beside her. Lucina knows she should as well but she simply lacks an appetite.  “That is understandable.” She uttered after a moment, her mind drifting to her own reasons for not joining the others in the galley. As much as she did want to know the other’s this was not the time she belonged to, this time had it’s own Lucina. The princess had left her own world behind to burn and face Grima’s destruction until, hopefully if she succeeded, it would fade from existence.  She was used to being alone as well, after two years of traveling alone after entering the portal to the past.

Finally, she picked up a piece of bread from the tray, taking a small bite of it and swallowing it down before turning to look at Robin once he’d spoke again. “Others noticed my absence?”” 

“ ... yes, is it that strange? ”

Ah, of course, he had noticed the distance she tended to keep when it concerned others. The entire reason behind watching over them instead of actively joining them earlier was related to that and the --- what he’d found understandable nonsense, an bittersweet imagination --- of her interference with their time.

“ Your father, for one. ”

He might have been laughing with the others, but the tactician knew he had scanned the tables for her.

“ He didn’t want to seem too overbearing, but he does care for you a great deal, even if he’s not the ‘Chrom’ who fathered you. And if he noticed, well, your mother for another, would have as well. ”

No offense to Chrom, but he wasn’t always the best at being aware of those around him, not as well as he was in keeping the morale of the troops and the natural charisma about him that even Lucina shared when she exercised it.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"You're not going without me."

"Who was that?"

"Will you stay with me tonight?"

"I can't let you do this alone."

"Are you sure you don't need me?"

"Please take me with you."

"If anyone hurts you, they're getting hurt worse."

"I don't need a bodyguard."

"Who hurt you?"

"I need someone to watch my back."

"You got this?"

"You are not okay."

"I'm coming with you."

"You have my full attention."

"I'm not going anywhere."

"I need you right now."

"I can't do this alone."

"Come with me."

"I can help you."

"I got this."

"I'm not taking no for an answer."

"You're not going with me."

"What did you do?"

"If you need me, I'll be here."

"I don't need your protection."

"I didn't ask you to do this."

"You need me, even if you think you don't."
