i can’t recall exactly when i got so invested in them but it’s been around since a little after demo 4, so roughly june or july of last year? i was a huge fan of kitchen wizard (singular) but i wanted to expand on something relating to blackrock, thus bringing in the knight. it was supposed to be a short story about the knight getting patched up after trying to reenter the castle again and,, there’s more but i’d imagine it’s kind of a lot for a random tumblr post. i’ve been making art and writing stuff for them but i felt particularly compelled to make these because of a block tales ship tier list on twt and there’s way more fans of them than i thought???? like hi!! where have you been this whole time!!

anyways. headcanons! you do not have to agree, though i would like you to respect them.

- banished knight is bellusromantic, otherwise unlabeled. probably just uses he/him

- kitchen wizard is transfeminine and uses they/them, otherwise unlabled (i’m not very creative with these)

- the previous is based on how in the manor they make a point about how nice the residents are and the two npcs to talk about kitchen wizard (eyeris and eyelidian) use exclusively they/them. i understand that pronouns in block tales aren’t 100% consistent but it’s kinda boring to have like a majority of the cast use he/him or be men.

- b!knight once whittled utensils out of wood for k!wizard’s birthday but his hands were so scuffed they got super worried and ranted about how he got the wrong type of wood. but they were happy nonetheless
