“Yes – I’ve been dying to see that!”

Kaiden was now determined to show Robin how much pizza he could eat. Although when he said he could eat endless amounts of pizza, he didn’t exactly mean it 100% truthfully, yet he was now fixed on impressing her with this talent he had partly made up. “There’s this cool pizzeria I know just down the road.” He smiled as they made their way to the pizza place the male had mentioned. Walking into it, Kaiden found them a table and grabbed a couple of pizza menus as they sat down. “Okay so I’m gonna start it off with a pepperoni; gotta enjoy my favourite first.” The blue haired boy giggled softly. “Oh— do you want a drink? It’s on me.” He smiled.

“Damn, are you sure ‘bout that?“

“Pretty sure – I don’t usually go for the desperate-to-get-laid type.”

“Alright, but do I really look that bad?”

“No! Just in need of a little pick-me-up.”

“Been a shit day, what can I say?”

“...Want to talk about it?”

“You know it’s kind of hard to not be offended when you say no offence. But I guess taking Kink to the beach would be kind of fun…”

“It was meant with good intentions,” Robin attempted with a wry smile, “Your dog’s called Kink?”

“Yeah, right when I didn’t need you anymore.” She chuckled, rolling her eyes at the girl right in front of her.

“Tell that to the miserable expression I saw on your face when I first walked in here. What’s going on with you?”

‘’I don’t think you’ll like my answer darling.’’

“And why is that?”

Robin pursed her lips at her ex-friend’s words, staring at her from across the table, “Apologies for trying to reach out to you.”

“The only question is, what movie?”

“If you’re not doing anything right now, I’ll take you to my favorite pizza place.“ He laughed. “You’ll like it, don’t worry.”

“I’m free, and that would be nice,” She smiled, “If you say so.”

“The fuck is that even supposed to mean?”

“That you don’t look particularly happy.”
