“So yer plan is to cuddle her and tell the world is full of rainbows and unicorns?” He chuckled. “Great approach.”

“She’s not going to puke on you. Please, I would prefer my daughter to not be injured by magical creatures so young. And she’s doesn’t do that anymore anyway.” Sol sighed.

“Dis is how they learn, innit? Better start young,” he put his hand on kid’s arm. He was holding her firmly yet away from him. “Sprinkle her with water when she does.”

Soleila ran as fast as she could with a baby in her arms after a small girl with strawberry-blonde hair. “Lila, we don’t chase harpies! They aren’t friendly.” She sighed again and spoke to the person near her daughter. “Could you grab her, please?”

“I ain’t grabbing her if she gonna puke at me,” he murmured quietly, straigtening his suit.

“Yes, yes of course. I simply thought that you may be thinking it was something completely different. I’m glad we’re on the same page.”

“I would never argue with a lady.”

“Balloons filled with water. And I tried to stuff them into the confetti cannon I found.”

“Yer overthinking this, Cait. Yer balloons had to be poor quality.”
