“I don’t I–” Hailee stammered, taken aback by Clara’s comment. “I couldn’t possibly. Artemis would never take me in anyways.”

“You don’t know that for sure. I think Artemis would be quite happy to have you.” 

“You should find another word to describe your manners. They’re not good.” 

“Yeah, yeah, that’s what they all say. Are you ready to get up, or not?”

“I don’t believe so, no. If you idolise us so much, why don’t you be come one of us? You’d probably be good at it.” 

“I wouldn’t classify it as nice. Besides, I’ve got plenty of years to work on my manners. You don’t. You should start now.” 

“How do you know that you know how, when you haven’t implemented it in a real life situation?” 

“Pfft– oh… I– I’m sorry, I? Never mind.”

“You don’t need to be sorry, I’ve just never heard anyone say something like that before.” 

“Pfft, of course it is. To train with the legendary huntresses? That’s anyone’s dream!”

“Legendary, huh? I don’t think it’s everyone’s dream, but perhaps you.” 

“That sounds like an absolutely awful idea. I’m not going to be here forever, you’re going to have to learn how to defend yourself.” Clara answered to her sister, keeping her eyes out for any potential danger. 

“That’s a fair point. Well, I’d be honored to join,” Hailee said shortly, obviously still nervous.

“I’m quite honoured you think that, I wouldn’t have thought it was.”
