Happy 5th of July fam... I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th celebration. I woke up this morning with something on my mind that I feel the need to share. So here it is...last night as stood there watching the fireworks display with all my kiddos I noticed noticed how excited and happy they were. And truthfully that brought me joy. I started thinking that not only do I love each and everyone of them dearly but also how eminsely proud I am to be their father. Then I started to think about this country. The U.S. of A. With all it's problems. All it shortcomings and all it's diversity there is no where else in the world I would rather raise my family. As entertainers and especially as rappers we take great pride in "Reppin our Hood". We carry it in our hearts on our backs are even to our graves. Well today I want to rep my country. With all it's many flaws...and there are many. It is still a place where you can Dream big Dreams and pursue those dreams knowing that if you put in the work you can realize your dreams. Our streets are not the safest streets in the world but they are far from the warzones other countries face daily. Our food is not the healthiest and our water maybe not the purist but there is an abundance for the needing it. This truly the great melting pot. America has people from nearly every country I know living here, working here and raising their families here. Although we come from different cultures, have different religions and even speak differently we all manage to coexist as peacefully as possible. No we are not perfect...but this is America.
