He may be seen to be a mischievous playboy who is easily flattered at first glance, but he is also very prideful and makes sure to absolutely accomplish everything he vowed to do. Like Miyoshi he also volunteered to be a spy. 

First Lieutenant Sakuma (CV Seki Tomokazu): “If you have to live your life like that, you aren’t human.”

First Lieutenant of the Japanese Imperial Army. By the instructions of his superior, Colonel Muto, he is sent over to the D Agency, a secret department established within the army. He acts as a liaison for the general staff. Though he inspects the state of D Agency, he is often astounded by their vast abilities. Due to his honest character as a military man, he holds many grudges against their unreserved remarks.          

Miyoshi (CV Shimono Hiro): “We’re all going out to town, would you like to join us?”

Everyone before him faces his sarcastic manner, he is a narcissist who looks others down from above. He does a lot of exaggerated poses and takes on a pompous attitude. He and Kaminaga both partitioned to be spies.

Kaminaga and Miyoshi did NOT volunteer to become spies. The original text calls them 仕切り役 among the spies, which means that they volunteer to take command among them if there is no one else suitable, such as Yuki. They consider themselves as the leaders of their group. Otherwise, the history leading up to how they ended up as spies is still just as much of a mystery as the others.
