There’s something raw and unfiltered about watching old Hong Kong crime thrillers. Today, I found myself diving deep into that cinematic world, stumbling across Ringo Lam’s iconic 1987 film 'City on Fire' — and surprisingly, I found it streaming on Dailymotion, subtitles and all.

Ringo Lam took Inspiration from the 1973 hindi movie 'Gaddaar' which itself copied from Hollywood movie 'The Asphalt Jungle'. Another film inspired from 'The Asphalt Jungle" was 1956 movie 'The Killing'

Alright, let’s do this. So, you left your graduation midway to pursue filmmaking, then went to Mumbai, probably thinking you’d be the next big thing, only to end up as someone’s coffee-fetching assistant for years. Now you're back in Kashmir, making “experimental” films—AKA stuff nobody understands but you pretend it's deep. And a research book on business communication? The only business communication you mastered in Mumbai was, “Sir, chai ya coffee?”
