Affection was something Beomgyu had always been open with. Perhaps it’s just how he was raised. His family were all affectionate people who didn’t shy away from hugs or touches. Even his close friends were affectionate people and so it was just something that came naturally to him. So when he met others who were affectionate like him then he felt relaxed. He knew he didn’t need to worry about being too touchy or affectionate around them because they too were the same. That’s why he liked hanging out with Hyeongjun so much. The older boy didn’t shy away from touches or affection and Beomgyu could be himself around Hyeongjun. He laughed and nodded before he reached up and squeezed the older’s cheek with a grin. It was indeed soft. ❝ Hyung is so cute with his soft cheeks! ❞

Beomgyu was an open book. It was rare for him to shy away from a topic or conversation because he was uncomfortable. He was willing to admit that he knew absolutely nothing about love or dating. ❝ Is it really that shocking? ❞ He asked, a confused look on his face. ❝ What about you then, hyung? Have you kissed someone before? ❞ At Hyeongjun’s question, Beomgyu shook his head. ❝ HI don’t even really know what a date is, ❞ he confessed casually. He couldn’t understand why this was all so surprising to his friend. He had thought it was normal. ❝ Have you been on a date before? ❞

The younger laughed and smiled. ❝ I don’t know how to answer the question because I’ve never really thought about it. I haven’t hated anyone so I don’t know what to look for, ❞ he admitted. When Hyeongjun confessed his ideal type was like Beomgyu his cheeks turned pink slightly, unbeknownst to him. ❝ I am? But I’m not handsome. ❞

hyeongjun doesn’t know why but for some reason he feels his cheeks heat up as the other touches his cheeks and calls them soft. hyeongjun doesnt normally blush when someone touches his like that, in fact this might be the first time he blushes because someone has touched his cheeks. hyeongjun doesnt know why he blushed and it confuses him, he tries to think for a good reason as for it, but he can’t find a single good one. maybe it wasn’t even because of beomgyu? maybe it was just random that his cheeks heated up, yeah perhaps… but who knows? hyeongjun right now just hoped that the other didn’t notice the blush over his cheeks, because how would he explain it? “you” he stops for a second “you are cute too… actually you’re way cuter than me, you’re like a cute little baby” he giggles.

hyeongjun nods “it is that shocking, you may be young, but you’re also really handsome and i think there are lots of people wanting to kiss you.” hyeongjun pouts for a second and then he looks up as he fiddles with his hair “i’ve kissed a few people before, i’m no expert but” he looks at beomgyu “i know what a kiss is and how to do it”. hyeongjun gets more and more shocked as the conversation continues, beomgyu hasn’t even been on a date before “for real?! never been on a date before neither?” he sounds surprised. “maybe i should take you on a date” he jokes as he hits the other softly.

ten thinks hyeongjun’s adorable. he’s like a little brother, someone ten wants to look out for and give advice to. it’s refreshing, really, hearing about the life of a teenager and all that goes on in high school nowadays. it’s been a while since ten was in high school, though he remembers it fondly, so it’s nice to hear from hyeongjun what the kids are getting up to these days. 

today, though, the conversation has turned to crushes and love lives. ten thinks it’s adorable that hyeongjun even has a love life - he’s a baby in ten’s eyes, and all he can imagine is toddlers holding hands and having fake weddings in disney princess dresses, though he’s sure that’s not what hyeongjun is doing in his free time. “so, tell me about this person who’s caught your eye.” he says, sipping his bubble tea. 

the other was a lot older than hyeongjun himself, but hyeongjun didn’t mind, he somehow had lots of friends that were older than him. to him age didn’t matter much when it came friends, he was willing to be friends with an elder man or a baby. hyeongjun smiled happily as he took a sip of the bubble tea he had managed to get the older to buy for him.

Choi Beomgyu was completely clueless when it came to anything to do with romance and love. He had never really been interested in love or romance or the like. He’d seen his friends fall in love and date but Beomgyu had never really felt the need to date. He supposed he had yet to meet the right person. The one, as they say. Perhaps he was just too focused on his dancing that he didn’t have time to date. Hyeongjun’s touch shocked him a little. He was not used to used to other people touching his face. Still, he smiled brightly at the compliment and chuckled. ❝ Thank you for thinking so, hyung. ❞ He clicked his tongue. ❝ You are. You have cute cheeks. ❞ Beomgyu grinned.

There was something about his older friend that made Beomgyu feel, well, different. It was a feeling he wasn’t used to, nor did he even know what it was. All he knew was that he enjoyed spending time with Hyeongjun and he felt comfortable being around him. Hyeongjun was attractive and he had a kind personality. Who wouldn’t like him?

He laughed at the older’s reaction and shook his head. ❝ I’m not lying. It’s 100 percent true. I’ve never kissed anyone. Not even on the lips. ❞ Beomgyu shrugged slightly. ❝ I never wanted to so I never did it. Is it really that shocking? ❞ He asked, clearly amused by Hyeongjun’s reaction.

At the question the teenager thought for a moment. ❝ I don’t know if I have a type but I guess someone who has a good personality and who I feel comfortable with? ❞

hyeongjun has always, or well most of his life been a very touchy feely guy, he likes affection, hugging people is one of his favourite hobbies. he likes softly touching other, making sure others now he cares for them. so hence he didn’t think much of when he placed his hand on the other’s jaw, it was like he did it without thinking, and he can only hope the other didn’t mind it too much. if so they would say it, right? yeah… yeah,,,, hyeongjun smiled as the other complimented his cheeks, those were most likely what hyeongjun got most compliments on. “thank you” he says cutely with a smile. “a lot of people say they’re like bread! soft! do you wanna try touching?” hyeongjun says as he turns his head so his cheek now is facing beomgyu’s way.

hyeongjun was quite happy at how the two had agreed on meeting up, hyeongjun could feel it already, they would most likely become close. it was rare that hyeongjun found it this easily to talk to people, even if he was an extrovert. he found himself so calm and joyful in the other’s company.

“you’ve really never kissed anybody… woah” hyeongjun looks fascinated at the other, even though the other has told him multiple times he still has trouble believing it. “what about going on a date before? you must’ve tried that at least, right?! right?!” this was something hyeongjun felt like he almost knew the other had tried, there was just no way the other hadn’t tried at least that.

The younger found the blush on the other makes him even cuter and Beomgyu can’t help but grin. He waved a hand in dismissal and chuckled. ❝ I’m cute, not handsome, ❞ he teased playfully. ❝ I’m not on hyung’s level though. ❞

Beomgyu couldn’t help but let out a laugh at the other’s reaction. He nodded and smiled. ❝ Mmhm, never. Is it that surprising? I’ve never really wanted to kiss anyone so, ❞ he shrugged. ❝ There has been no one wanting to kiss me otherwise I would have done it by now. ❞ Beomgyu leaned closer to Hyeonjun as he spoke about love, curious to learn more about it. ❝ That sounds nice. ❞

At the question Beomgyu leaned back again and frowned as he thought. ❝ My type? What do you mean? ❞

hyeongjun smiles bigly as the other compliments him again. hyeongjun is very, like a lot, used to being called cute, still yet he smiles bigly and blushes when beomgyu calls him it. perhaps it’s just because he isn’t used to handsome boys calling him cute, it’s usually older people and girls. “awe come on” hyeongjun takes out a hand and touches the other’s jaw for a second “you may be cute but you’re also handsome. “and ahh stop it, i’m not that cute” the little boy giggles.

hyeongjun looks a little closer at beomgyu, takes his time to study the other, now that he thinks about it, the other is actually more than just handsome, they’re… gorgeous. how come this hasn’t come to mind before? hyeongjun chuckles as he thinks. the other is so cute, handsome and gorgeous, and it’s first now that hyeongjun notices for real.

“what no way, are you sure you’re not lying?” hyeongjun hits the other softly. hyeongjun truly can’t believe it, the fact that the other hasn’t kissed anyone before, it must be a lie, right? “you’ve never kissed anybody? like not just a little kiss on the lips?” hyeongjun smiles softly, his face is filled with confusion.

hyeongjun truly isn’t no love expert, but he knows a few things, he’s had boyfriends before and has had his first kiss. but that’s it, that’s as much knowledge he has on love.

The thing about being a trainee at the same time as being a student was that sometimes he had special permission to skip school to go to the company instead as long as his grades weren’t suffering from it. That was all fine and all except for one thing – Daehwi had never been particularly good at studying when it came to anything but languages and right now most of his grades were in the red. The school term about to end and a month left until the start of summer vacation didn’t help on his teacher’s pressuring him and threatening him with summer detention and extra homework and whatnot (were they even allowed to do such things?!).

Either way school right now was hell, and considering he hadn’t done any of his homework for today, a day that wasn’t a day off, he had decided on a very clever tactical retreat and steered from his path to school to go to Nova’s main building and join the daily training instead.

and how does the boy relax? by going out to feed animals of course, hyeongjun is an animal lover, he’s quite fond of animals, and one of his hobbies is feeding whatever animals he finds, the most usual one he feeds are the ones at the park. and those at the park? they’re birds, hence he was throwing bread at the birds. but just as he was throwing bread at the birds he got lost in his mind, suddenly he began thinking about the date he and beomgyu had agreed on. and before he knew of it, he was throwing bread at a stranger.

Choi Beomgyu is a sociable person. He’s someone who flocks to others easily and he thrives being the centre of attention. He knows many people and has many friends. He is a bubbly and energetic person who is always seen smiling. However, despite all this, Beomgyu was lonely. His best friends were finding partners or falling in love and yet here he was, never even kissed anyone, alone. He was thankful that he had someone like Hyeongjun to talk to. Someone around his age who shared many similarities with him. He could talk to the elder boy comfortably and without fear.

Beomgyu couldn’t help but laugh a little at Hyeongjun’s sudden words. ❝ Ah, hyung, why are you stressing? You’re a very attractive person. ❞ He grinned. He was, at least that’s what the high schooler thought.

Beomgyu puffed his cheeks and leaned forward, resting his chin on the palm of his hand as he chewed his lower lip. ❝ But, I agree. Part of me wants to find someone too. Even if it’s just to say I’ve done stuff. I haven’t even kissed anyone yet, ❞ he chuckled. ❝ Sad, right, hyung? ❞ He let out a soft sigh. ❝ I wouldn’t even know what to look for? What does love even feel like, hyung? ❞

hyeongjun feels comfortable around beomgyu, there’s something comforting about being with the other. hyeongjun feels at ease, like he doesnt have to worry, hyeongjun is sure of it, that the other won’t judge him easily, and he thinks that that’s the reason for why he feels so comfortable around the other.

hyeongjun doesnt know why, he’s not too sure, but for some reason, he just feels quite comfortable and open with his sexuality. and he easily speaks freely about it, he’s not sure how he mentioned it to beomgyu, but he’s sure it didn’t take much for him to mention that he’s gay. perhaps it’s because hyeongjuns parents are gay that he feels comfortable with his sexuality, because he knows they’re there to protect him.

hyeongjun pouts as he blushes at the others compliment. hyeongjun gets called cute and adorable a lot, his chubby cheeks has the effect of making him look cute. still he blushes at the compliment even though he should be used to compliments. “ah you’re quite handsome yourself”

 hyeonjun’s lips turn into an o as the other admits they haven’t kissed anyone before. “you haven’t kissed anyone before?!” he hits the other softly “no way? you’re so cool, i’m sure there are lots of people wanting to kiss you?”. hyeongjun begins thinking as the other asks a question. “well love is weird i’d say, but it’s cute, holding hands, kissing, smiling together, i love it” he replies with a smile.
