Ages ago I started a series of short articles hightlighting some of the basics of masturbation. Somehow it got forgotten about, but thought I’d start it up again and see where it leads.

First off - some definitions and a selection of alternative terms used to talk about this subject.

To masturbate = to stimulate the genitals using the hand (or a hand held item) for sexual pleasure. Noun - masturbation.

Some other commonly used expressions used to describe male masturbation:

To wank, to have a wank

To jerk off

To jack off

To stroke

To tug / tug it off

To bate

To rub one out (ie manually induce ejaculation)

To bust a nut (ie masturbate to ejaculation)

To spank the monkey

To choke the chicken

To bash the bishop

To edge = to stimulate the penis over an extended period of time, almost to the point of ejaculation, but without allowing to reach a climax

To goon = to enjoy an extended period of masturbation / edging, and revel in the sensations experienced.

To milk = to manually stimulate the penis until orgasm is achieved and continue doing so until every drop of semen has been expelled. Normally refers to an act performed upon another man.
