               I am waiting, certainly waiting for the man I’ll spend the rest of my life with. A man, I think, whom I haven’t crossed path yet with. “I want my first to be my last”, every time I say that favorite line of mine, my friends go to the contrary side. “How will you even know if he’s the one for you, if you don’t even try”, they’ll always say. I admit it, sometimes, I feel like I need to try if someone knocks on my door, but at the same way, I also feel afraid that that knock was only created by my imagination, my perception of my ideal man; Or worse, someone undeserving of my effort to even open the door, someone who’ll barge into without taking it slow, a thief of experience and genuine love I have reserved for my man. I am waiting, waiting for the only “knock” I would gladly welcome. ‘Till then, I will be waiting for you, my King!

Loving has never been hard. It is the effects of love that makes it hard. They say that love makes the world go round, but two hearts that are so much in love with one another would never think that love could also make their whole world crumble. Love is beautiful, when love is perfect; You hate love, when love hurts you. You appreciate the magic of love, when love amazes you with its magical tricks; You feel bewitched when love doesn’t do you good anymore. Love makes you feel whole, but you also feel like love shatters you to pieces every time love breaks you apart. Now tell me, would you still love even if love becomes hard on you?

She was afraid to lose him. He, as well, was afraid to lose her. But none of them wants to admit. They were both afraid, afraid that the other would not express the same way. They are both fool, fool for not even trying. They are both losers, for they don’t know that they already won each other’s’ heart. It was a chance they could have taken, but they chose not to.

You call her sensitive, moody, hard to understand, not easy to deal with. But have you ever asked her what she is going through? You want everything to be okay, but life is too complicated to always be okay. We do not experience exactly the same thing at the same day, time, minute or second. We have different personalities and each personality requires different things. Please take some time to know why she is like this and that. She doesn’t need you to fully accept everything she is; the way she talks, the way she acts, or even the way she handles life, but maybe all she need is a person who will understand the real her, and a person who’ll remind her if she is already crossing the line, she’ll listen. She needs you to be there during her tough times, for I know she will be during yours.

I have always believed that love is worth the wait. But how much longer do I still have to wait? I could have grabbed others’ love, but yours is the love I wanna have and hold. The love from you, you- whom I still do not know. 

Some Kings look forward to a Queen whose beauty and prowess will never fade; Kings or Queens, their strength and capacity will surely decline, but it is the love and faith that should not.

Because Some Queens wait for the “perfect” one, mind them, nobody would ever dare come near them. Nobody is perfect. Everyone has his/her perfect imperfections.

He was ready, but she wasn’t. When she became ready, he wasn’t anymore.
