Your eyes finally found the cat figure and her eyes brightened. Finally! A cat who knew what she, or she hoped this cat knew, what she was trying to do.

Week light filtered in as a cloud moved across the sky revealing a small sliver of the moon. As the pale light found its way through the forest like trickling rain the cat was revealed. 

The she-cat took another step closer. Her paws ruffling up the leaves on the ground. She lowered her head.

Do you know who I am?

The she cat didnt wait for an answer. She raised her tail up high.

I am Goldenpatch…. But you can call me Belladona. I am one of those Starclan cats you were defending. I’m so very thankful.

The she cat raised up a paw and pattered lightly at Riverpaw’s ear on her good side.

I am so thankful I feel like I should reward you. Tell me… Who is your mentor in Sunclan?

The she cat raised her nose up to the sky and interrupted Riverpaw as she spoke.

“De-”

But she was cut off, she didn’t really mind though. She thought about the she-cats offer. She took a step back. Deadheat was a good mentor! There was conflict in her good eye. She remembered last time she got caught for training without her mentors permission. Her claws were digging into the ground.

“I...i don’t know...”

She pondered harder, her tail twitching. Maybe...since this cat was...supposedly from Starclan...her mentor wouldn’t care...But, he doesn’t believe in these cats anymore. And she did stand up for them.

You sigh confusedly in your nest. It had been a long day. You had learned about how your clan finally knew where to meet Starclan at! But you also learned that Starclan possibly couldn’t be trusted! Or something like that, You didn’t know what to think.

Did you Believe your leader, and medicine cat? And this Starclan cat that brought them the message, the same cat who made it possible for Sunclan to even be here, hell Auburnstar was right, if not for him and the Starclan cat, she wouldn’t be here…

Riverpaw found herself slowly coming to. The soft bedding under her paws seemed to vanish and was replaced with cold forest floor. When she stood up and blinked the sleep out of her eyes she quickly noticed another feline but due to the poor lighting of the forest it was hard to see the she-cat.

The stranger took a step forward.

Riverpaw…was it?

She meowed softly.

Better late than never, and as we say here in Sweden:  “Fint folk kommer alltid sent.” Though in this case it’s about  a gift. BUT WHATEVER.

Youre gonna have to bear with me because I based Auburnstar’s family off my old warrior cat OCs that I made when I was like 13 so of course the family tree doesnt line up well even with me altering designs to be more realistic um…

So since this rp group has started we’ve seen lots of cats running away at some point or another for various reasons. At the beginning this was somewhat reasonable. The clan was new, no one was used to clan life, it’s understandable some aspects would be overwhelming. However as the clan has established itself, this is kinda not okay. More and more people are doing it on a regular basis. There’s in-character consquences for this kind of thing, not just “others might not trust my character as much”. It’s not realistic… Cats who leave would be seen as deserters, and not worthy of being warriors. For example, Leafpool was almost not allowed back after she ran away, and her title of medicine cat was stripped away. For a clan, loyalty is the most important thing, and cats who run away are not seen as loyal when their clan actually needs them. Why are they in a clan if they can’t handle aspects of clan life? There are some plot things where leaving the clan for a period of time are acceptable for cats in higher positions (like Auburnsun leaving to find the StarClan place for his 9 lives originally) But running away because they can’t handle it just isn’t what clan cats do. This all being said, I’d like this to stop. It compromises the realism of the roleplay, making it less of a Warriors roleplay at all. If you need to be away for a while, or can’t rp due to any circumstances, it’s better to put your cat on autopilot and resume normally when you return.

I also want to say something about killing and severely injuring your cat. Since that is a very major event, there should be warning before you do so, and you should tell Sawyer if that’s something you plan on doing. That does not mean watching an event unfold and saying “this is a good way for them to die, so I’m gonna go for it.” Without any warning, this can cause unneeded drama. Exceptions to this are things like Pigeonpaw’s death, which was used in a plot and meant to shock others and keep the story going. Deciding that your cat should go get mauled by foxes at the drop of a hat does not compare to this, as it doesn’t contribute to the story or further the plot. To be clear, I am not saying you shouldn’t kill your cats. I am not saying you aren’t allowed to give them the most gruesome death realistically possible. What I am saying is you need to give clear warning and run it by Sawyer before you do so. If you are ready to have your cat killed, by all means, you can even ask for a plot role in which it can occur if that’s what you want!
