ngl while i have some criticisms of rtd2, i feel like i am seeing, across the board, reactions disproportionally focused on the fact that rtd2 supposedly sucked, so that's the root of all evil, and not, like. that there seemed to be something going on behind the scenes Before the xmas special was cancelled, even maybe as far back as while the production was ongoing, and also the fact that, on the whole, nothing about rtd2 was like Worse than doctor who has ever been, and the fact that we should bully disney and bbc for doing all this after the show had a black man playing an openly queer character in a leading role
