After his exile, Wyll Ravengard encountered the struggles of the people of the Coast first hand, and pledged himself to be their champion. From goblins to Minotaurs, there was no foe he would not face.

While many of his targets were monsters of a conventional nature, set to him by those he met on his travels, that wasn’t necessarily all of them.

After all, some of the worst beings wear familiar faces.

And Wyll was still bound to the devil Mizora. He might have been able to realize that the tiefling Karlach was just that: an innocent tiefling, but was she the only undeserving soul his pact forced him to hunt? And what happened to those who weren’t lucky enough to be able to psychically prove their innocence to the avenging Blade.
