And I love it because it implies such connectedness and entwinement within the four. Packed inside the concept of Xiaoshuai as "you" IS Wu Suowei. To provide for Wu Suowei IS to provide for Xiaoshuai. It betrays how deeply they're all tied. It's not even RELEVANT that gcy cooks for wsw and chi cheng because. They're just part of him and xiaoshuai. Their love for the other two has nothing AGAINST the love between the two of them--which is beautiful, contrasted with the way the love between CC and GCY tore CC's last relationship apart.

And with CC, too, "I only cook for you" even out of context doesn't reallllly have the implication of "i dont cook for myself," just, the only OTHER person I cook for is you. So it implies this sort of mutual being in one another. Of course I cook for Chi Cheng. He's part of me. Of course I cook for Wu Suowei. He's part of you. In a way that's cooking for you/providing for you because we are all part of each other.

And yet this line here also highlights the sanctity of his cooking--it is a form of love, otherwise, why would it mean anything for him to reassure Xiaoshuai that he "only" cooks for him?

"Okay, can everyone tell me about and summarize their characters? Let me see if you guys did your homework."
