“welcome back!!” the host beamed, clapping, “today we have lngshot with us!” the host smiled, gesturing to the group

the members smiled, bowed, greeting politely while immediately slipping into their own chaos like always

woojin excitedly cheered, louis smiled as wide as ever and ohyul being the responsible leader he is, thanked every host for having them on the show

and ryul?

ryul stood there, hands in his hoodie pockets, looking calm as ever, a small smile on his face as he nodded along to ohyul’s words

“today,” the co-host continued, “we’ll be watching your daily dorm life! we’ll dive into some real, unedited footage, showing your life behind closed doors, giving your fans a glimpse into your routines!”

all of the members clapped excitedly, laughing as they were excited to see what they were going to show

“oh this is bad,” woojin sighed, smirking a little too wide for no reason

ryul scoffed softly, “why are you so excited,”

but woojin didn’t answer, he just look at him, grinning so much it was almost scary,

“…what did you do,” ryul narrowed his eyes, his gaze shifting to the camera before side eyeing woojin again

“nothing,” ohyul said, way too fast, “what did you do?” he grinned

the light dimmed slightly as the screen lit up,

lngshot’s dorm – 12:08 pm

the camera zoomed in on his door, before switching to the one in ryul’s room,

“he’s not even awake yet?” one host whispered dramatically,

“he was up till 5am,” ohyul exposed immediately,

“i was working on our music,” ryul defended

the screen showed him sprawled across the bed, his blanket half on the floor, and his phone somewhere under his pillow

“wow,” one host whispered, “such an idol,”

“he’s ugly when he sleeps,” louis laughed,

“you sleep talk, “ryul shot back,

“at least i don’t-“

“ok ok,” ohyul cut in, laughing, before the two could go any further in their bickering, “let’s watch,”

the camera moved around his room,

..and that’s when it started

the clip continued, showing his bed, all the clothes around his room, his desk, a mic in the corner,

all the usual, but then-

..his members noticed first,

“oh-“ ohyul said, trying, and failing, to hide his smile,

“ohhh,” woojin joined, grinning even wider than he already was,

the hosts blinked, looking between the two, “oh what?!”

“nothing,” the leader said, lips twitching, not very convincing

“why are you all reacting like that,” the main host asked, suspicious now,

“just… keep watching,” ohyul said, already looking at ryul,

ryul sighed, but didn’t quite understand what was happening (yet)

the camera zoomed in-

there was a bag on the chair,

but not just any bag.. a very clearly not-his bag, unless ryul was into ‘chloe paddington’ bags??

there was makeup on his desk,

a pink lipgloss, a cute small cinnamoroll hand mirror and blush in a tint that was definitely not ryul’s daily make up look

a hoodie draped over the back of his chair that was also definitely not his,

and then-

the plushie

not even subtle, it was pink, soft, adorable, and sitting right in the middle of his bed like it paid rent

the hosts gasped, “WAIT! PAUSE!”

the members started making noise immediately,

“GO BACK!” the host said,

the screen zoomed in again.

“is that… makeup?” one host asked,

“and that bag???” the other added,

and before they could say anything else, the members burst out laughing,

“hyung you’re actually so done,” woojin grinned, to which louis absolutely died of laughter,

“you guys are snitches,” ryul huffed under his breath,

“we said hide it,” ohyul whisper laughed

“i DID hide it,” ryul argued, “kind of,”

“that plushie is in the center of your bed,”

“it likes the spotlight,” ryul joked

and the studio absolutely lost it

“ryul!,” the host said, turning to him with wide eyes, “whose things are those?”

all the members turned too, but they were not as shocked as the hosts were,

no, they were excited!!!!

like they’d been waiting for this exact moment, like they’re just excited to see how ryul was going to save himself in this situation,

and ryul just looked at them, grinning a little by the look on their faces, before he looked back at the host,

“my girlfriend’s,” he said casually,

and the members immediately cheered,

“finally!!” woojin clapped his hands excitedly,

the hosts blinked, processing,

“wait- you all knew???”

“of course we knew,”ohyul said, “we’ve met her countless times,”

“she’s really cool,” louis added, his eyes quickly glancing at his hyung, a sweet smile on his face

“way too good for him,” woojin muttered,

“hey,” ryul scoffed,

the hosts were losing their minds, “how long has this been going on???”

“does the company know??”

“like a year and a half,” ryul said, casual as ever, “going onto two,”

“so before debut??”

“yeah,”

one host turned to the members, “and you just kept his secret???”

“of course, we’re loyal,” ohyul beamed happily,

“and louis’s scared of him,” woojin joked,

“i’m not scary,”

“you kinda are,” louis shoots back,

there’s laughter everywhere,

and the hosts are desperately trying to get their heads around what just happened,

“so she comes to the dorm??” the co-host asked, leaning forward, completely invested in all of this,

“yeah, sometimes,” ryul said, “when schedules aren’t crazy,”

“she brings food,” louis added quickly,

“she does!!” ohyul said, “we love her,”

“she literally saved us during our debut season,” woojin nodded,

“you’re all using her for food???” ryul stared at them,

“she’s supportive and she feeds us,” louis smiled cheekily, “she’s like a big sister,”

ryul was shaking his head but couldn’t hide the proud smile on his face,

and the hosts were eating this up,

“ryul, are you not worried about revealing this?” one asked,

and again, he just shrugged, simple and honest,

“not really,” he said. “the company’s cool with it and i wasn’t gonna hide her forever anyways,”

his tone softened just a little, “she’s important to me, so i was gonna tell the fans at some point,”

the members went quiet for a second, smiling, but softer now, less teasing,

“aw,” woojin cooed, “he’s in love,”

“shut up,”

his phone buzzed loudly and the immediate smile on his face made it very clear who was texting,

he looked at his phone, then back at the camera, trying not to laugh,

his voice softened again,

ryul shot back up, his head whipping towards the door faster than light, “why are you here,”

woojin walked over to the desk, popping up on the screen behind ryul,

“hi guys,” he smiled a little too excited, waving at the camers, “she’s really nice, don’t worry,”

“can you get out,” ryul said, pushing woojin to the side playfully,

louis and ohyul stormed into the room too, not wanting to miss out on whatever was happening,

“wassuppp,” louis giggled as he waved to the phone, “wow the chat is going wild,” he gasped as he leaned forward to read comments,

“hiii,” ohyul beamed, grinning just as widely as the younger one

“hyung, they’re asking who’s wearing the pants in your relationship,”

“obviously noona-“ woojin laughed,

“stop,” ryul shoots back, hitting his member softly,

“it’s true tho because everytime hyung does-“

“stop talking!”

the chat was going insane, again

ryul pushed woojin out of frame, sighing,

“stay out of my business,” he jokingly said,

“is he blushing??” louis huffed excitedly,

“stop!” ryul sighed again, hiding his face in his hands,

the members were all laughing, but the atmosphere was chill and comfortable

of course they would take every opportunity to tease him, but all jokes aside, they’re so supportive

like, so so supportive

“hyung how do you feel about it tho,”

“about you being annoying?”

“no- about your relationship being public now,”

he shrugged his shoulders, but the corner of his lips curled up into a small smile;

“i’m happy,” he replied,

later, after he finished the live stream, you came over to the dorm, just like any other night

you were sitting at his desk, the rest of the boys all scattered around somewhere in the room,

“so,” woojin said, serious for no reason, “now that it’s public will you still bring snacks?”

you blinked, already smiling at the seriousness in his tone, “is that all you care about??”

“yes,” he replied immediately, grinning

“don’t answer that,” ryul said, walking back into his room,

“traitor,” louis pointed at him, “you tried to gatekeep her,”

“she’s my girlfriend, not yours,”

“what’s mine’s yours, what’s yours’ mine,” woojin said, before bursting out in laughter when ryul shot him the most disturbing look ever, “i’m joking,”

you laughed, shaking your head, “of course i’ll bring snacks,” you said,

and the members erupted into exciting cheers, like actual cheering,

“see?” woojin nudged ryul, clearly not done teasing yet, “she’s better than you,”

ryul scoffed softly, placing his hands on your shoulders as he stood behind you, pulling you closer so you’re leaning against him,

“yeah,” he said easily, “i know,

you looked up at him as he softly massaged your shoulders, “that was smooth,” you laughed

“he’s been practicing,” ohyul said,

“in the shower?” you jokingly guessed,

“how did you know,” ryul grinned, leaning down to give you a soft kiss on the cheek, closing his arms around you in a quick embrace,

the members groaned,

“get a room!!” woojin yelled, throwing a pillow to the two of you,

“this is his room,” louis laughed

“fair,”

“yeah so if you don’t mind, i’d like a moment with my girlfriend,”

“sure, have one,” woojin nodded, as he leaned back in his seat more,

“he means alone,” ohyul laughed as he pulled woojin out of his chair, already pushing louis out of the room,

“what’s wrong with our company?” woojin yelled, laughing,

“a lot,” ryul shoots back,

you hit his arm softly, “don’t say that,”

“see noona wants me to stay,”

“no she doesn’t,” ryul argued,

“she does, look she-“

“hyung they wanna kiss and do other couple stuff,” louis yelled from the living room, already settling down on the couch,

“eww,” woojin laughed,

“get out,” ryul said as he walked towards the door, pushing him further out of his room, before closing the door fully

“hyung,” woojin yelled again from the other side, knocking on the door like a little kid, “do you wanna-“

“no, go away,”

there was a small moment of silence and you stared at the door and after a short 10 seconds the knocking started again..

you looked at him, trying not to laugh,

“noona, if you need help, just scream loudly ok?!” woojin said with a muffled laugh, rattling the door again,

you opened your mouth to say something but the annoyed, yet amused, look on ryul’s face made you laugh before you could even say anything,

“GO AWAY,” he groaned loudly,

but the laughter outside only got louder as you heard loud footsteps running around on the other side of the door,

ryul sighed, dropping his head before looking at you, “they’re never letting this go,”

you smiled, “they’re just excited tho,”

“and annoying,” he huffed, brushing a hand through his hair as he walked over to you again,

and for the rest of the night, the noise outside didn’t stop

but neither did your smiles,

the smiles you don’t have to hide anymore tho,

so much for keeping things lowkey, all thanks to a cute little plushie
