So, wow! Masanari tho! (و ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و I love him, I love him, I love him... hhh.. Rindartist again for these panels. And there I was, caught in the terrible dilemma of Hanzo with his hair down or his hair up! HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY DECIDE?! Heh, I could not! So, here is Rina, playing music for Masanari. ♪♫ He’s having his tea, and then... and THEN... ٩( ᐛ )و He takes her shamisen away because... for reasons!  *coughs* Seeking other entertainment with his little mouse... *coughs*

Hooray! So, this is the finished panel set for Saizo and Rina. The artist is rindartist from Fiverr. Rina, my OC, is a performer. So, more of a musician than a cook, she tried her best at somewhat smooshed hanami dango. And Saizo was being cute, and I dunno, I love the angst of his stories, but I just want him to be happy. So, have some happy! Originally, it was only supposed to be two panels, but I could not decide - Saizo with his eyes closed, peacefully resting... or eyes open... teasing her till she's flustered. So, I got both! But, hmmm.... his sleeping face is my favorite! (ღˇ◡ˇ)♥ℒᵒᵛᵉᵧₒᵤ♥

So, a long time ago, and I mean more than two years ago - like May 2020, I hired an artist, who out of respect for their work, will remain unnamed. And due to whatever... the WIPs stayed that way for 2 years despite communication attempts & the commissioned artist disappeared. Bummer, $120 via paypal, and all I got was some base color art drafts of my SLBP favorites Hanzo & Saizo.  WELP!  Please note - since these weren’t finished and the hair colors were wrong (which is fine it was a draft) - this is supposed to be the same OC in both images.

Welp! ♥                             hehe... ꈍ .̮ ꈍ He's not kidding... though you can only see it in the manga ¯\_(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)_/¯  I swear, at this point, I'm just re-watching it for the screenshots & memes...  such a fun show. \(^ヮ^)/

In one of the drama CDs, he tells a teenage Rin who was 15 or 16 at the time, that he would wait for her and always be there for her. She became the one he would protect. It's what his father told him he needed, and for so long, he never believed he needed anyone. Yet, their relationship dynamic seemed to change as Rin grew up. As an immortal, he is, of course, quite patient to let her examine her heart at her own pace. “The Day After Tomorrow” - Epilogue - Track 5 It can’t be any more clear than this. He loves Rin. He will wait for her to find the answer for herself. He will be there anytime she calls for him, even if it can only be a whistle, he will answer. Though she lives among humans now, he will not allow anything to separate them if she needs him. Things are fine to continue as they are “for now,” but the implication is that he will patiently wait for more. As Kagome says, “it’s more like a proposal.”  Welp!  💕 I agree!
