The first day Regulus talked to James was in the early morning when only he and Regulus were awake. James working out at 5 in the morning and Regulus who just really liked the quiet and to read, he loved to read. James thought that was cute especially since he started to read muggle books. He was a precious boy.

"Do want coffee?" Regulus's voice was soft in a way that one was unsure how to talk

"I don't like coffee." James stated

It took Regulus time to function after James told him simply that he did not like coffee. He didn't like coffee and Regulus just looked at him as if he sprouted a new head. James found it a bit funny as he grinned widely at Regulus.

"You feel like a person who loves coffee."

James nodded. "I get that a lot. Most people just say they are shocked but I like how you worded it that I feel like someone who loves coffee."

Regulus looked perplexed and thoughtful when he looked at James and James felt butterflies run through his stomach.

"So no coffee," Regulus simply said

"No coffee."

Regulus was quiet for a moment. "Would you like tea?"

James who had a full workout planned decided to fuck that plan. He nodded.
