I don’t see how any of the current “trans men are privileged for being passing men so shut up and accept it” discourse in response to trans mascs/men discussing our oppression is any different than old conservative talking points that “homophobia doesn’t affect gays as long as they’re not too open about it.”

Painting a minority group as an inherent threat of some kind is a classic form of bigotry, and one that many marginalized folks recognize with ease when it comes to most of that kind of rhetoric. But when it comes to trans men and transmascs, far too many people are so willing to double down and come up with any reason they can to justify considering us more dangerous than other trans folks. It doesn't do great things to a trans person to be treated like poison for their gender identity.

fyi things like insulin, hearing aids, wheelchairs, glasses costing money at all is a form of structural ableism

disabled people should not have to pay to live their lives like everyone else. and in the case of insulin, disabled people should not have to pay to Not Fucking Die
