I keep finding the most interesting people who I grow to fundamentally adore but the moment when things feel safe and secure is when they back out every time. It is exhausting because I have to take serious time to heal that sudden pull away. I feel like the love I felt from them was a façade (it wasn't) as they show no remorse or any self reflection. It is the worse kind of break up you can have, no closure, confusion, betrayal. THE CRUELEST PART IS THEY PROBABLY DON'T WANT THAT OUTCOME EITHER. How fucking sick is it that our brains teach us to run from the things that can heal us.
