I find this perfectly amusing because, for one, Panna Cotta is a heavily MILK BASED dessert, and, as we all know, Victor just LOVES his milk, doesn't he☺️. This dessert, I take, is actually the only food we, as the audience, see Victor ACTUALLY eat.

Think about it. The only thing we ever see him drink is milk, and based on this scene, we know that he only ever injests stuff that is or contains milk - i.e., the Panna Cotta

I will always be amazed and just downright laugh at the thought of Guillermo del Torro being so serious about Victor's milk addiction to the point that the man literally ONLY eats/injests products that are heavily milk based. This also proves that Victor's mommy issues run bone deep (we already know this, but you get the jist), which makes me laugh even harder at the notion that he would quite literally rather die than give up his precious milk products (clock the scene where he asks the villager clerk to give him 6 sticks of dynamite and cans of CONDENSED MILK.)

Oh, Victor. You're such a tragic mess😉
