WE MADE IT! Without the help and support from our family, friends, and the countless people we've met along the way, Team Alabamboo couldn't have embarked on this amazing journey.

Just hanging out in beautiful Napa County, enjoying the landscape.
Oh, and the roads. Oh, and the flat tires! Not!
Please! Throw your glass bottles on the side of the road! There is not enough broken glass in our path.
We wish there were more cars in California!

Our Couchsurfing hosts invited us to the local bike coop, Davis Bike Collective, for an outdoor film screening spotlighting Peter Wagner, a local bike builder. Great short film, great space, great people.
Blazing through the American River Bike Trail on our way to Davis tonight. No cars, no worries.

The benefit of climbing is the reward of going downhill. Yesterday we made our way from Carson City, NV and crossed into CA. We climbed over Carson's Pass (8,573 ft) and camped at Woods Lake (pictured above). Today we dropped 6,000+ feet as we entered Placerville, CA.
We couldn't think of any words to describe this photo. Maybe words can't describe what we're feeling right now. See you soon, SF!
