It had been five years since Rick and Morty from dimension B-156 had seen their friend Hattress and her family. Many things had changed since then. The duo had decided to come and visit again for the first time in a few years. They arrived near the front door through a portal and Rick gave it a knock.
Hattress and Matt would find that a lot had changed since the last time they saw them. For one thing, Morty was all grown up. He was now Twenty years old. The young man had also hit a growth spurt and was now almost as tall as his grandpa. His hair had also grown out quite a bit as well. Morty was also a fully fledged interdimensional scientist. He wore a white lab coat like Rick once did and he was now sporting a yellow turtle neck instead of a t-shirt.
Rick had also changed a bit. He had elected to grow his hair out, so it was a lot longer than before. He also had a stubbled beard and mustache. No longer was he wearing a lab coat, but rather, he was wearing a uniform for the new and improved Citadel. One which he had founded with a few of his other alternates. He was the leader of the said Citadel.

Izu sighed. âItâs a money issue for me. The only apartments available are owned by money-grubbers. I often canât afford them on a student loan. Matt and Hattress have covered more than once, and so has Big Bro. But I canât keep going to them forever.â
He smiles. âThank you. I really appreciate it. But I am sorry you had to deal with that. I donât even own a car, so⌠yeah.â
Diane hugged Songbird. âPlay?â She indicates the playground.
âPlay?â Songbird said.
âI think it would be alright if they played for a little while. We have another hour before it gets dark out.â Ford said.
Matt nods. âAgreed. Go ahead, sweetie. But stay in sight, okay?â
Izuku and Bak got up. Bak said, âWeâll keep an eye on them, donât worry.â
Dipper ate his food. Ford noticed his old journal sticking out of the bag on Dipperâs shoulders. âStill carrying around that journal?â
Dipper nodded. âYeah! Itâs my most prized possession!â
Then he sighed. âThereâs this group of guys at my school that took it from me a few days ago. TheyâŚThey nearly set it on fire. If a teacher hadnât stepped in when they did, the journal wouldâve been toast.â
Hattress trembled in rage. Matt placed a gentle hand on her shoulder before the universe opened back up again.
âSounds like youâve been having a really rough time at your new school.â Stan frowned.
âI am.â Dipper sniffled. âI hate it at that school.â
