A Impressão 3D é uma forma de tecnologia onde um modelo tridimensional é criado por sucessivas camadas de material. Partindo desta tecnologia Michael Hansmeyer e Benjamin Dillenburger criaram o projeto Digital Grotesque, que ainda não foi lançado, mas seus modelos em escala 1:3 podem ser vistos no site dos criadores. Eles desenvolveram a partir de modelos tridimensionais um espaço extremamente elaborado, rico em detalhes, que só é possível com a impressora 3D. Ou demorariam algumas dezenas de anos para ser feito com outra tecnologia ou de maneira artesanal.

3D printing is a form of technology where a three dimensional model is created by successive layers of material. Based on this technology, Benjamin Michael and Hansmeyer Dillenburger created the project Digital Grotesque, which has not yet been released, but 1:3 scale models can be viewed on the creators website. They developed from three-dimensional models a very elaborate space, rich in details, which is only possible with the 3D printer or would take years to be done with other technology or traditional manners.

O kirigami arquitetônico (do japonês: de kiru, "recortar", e kami, "papel") é a arte japonesa que combina a dobradura em papel, o origami, corte no papel e a engenharia de antigos livros infantis "pop-ups".

Fiz esse que é de um Templo Japonês (Pagode).
