Can’t wait to get back to the office next week!

Watching; Jealousy Incarnate aka Don’t Dare to Dream. It started off a little confusing but Jo Jung Seok and Gong Hyo Jin are both so good. And Go Kyung Pyo is dreamy~~~

Also finished Forest of Strangers aka Stranger. Dammit I love Jo Seung Woo so much :D Bae Doona and Yoo Jae Myung are both fabulous too.

Also finished K2, which I already knew wasn’t a great show, and I was proven right (maybe some confirmatory bias here). The show hyped up certain storylines and conflicts, but at the end of the show these hyped up conflicts seem to be swept under the carpet in a 8-minute compilation of scenes. Plus an unconvincing and uninteresting lead romance.

Also finished A New Leaf. This show is one that I just raging at. It started off well, and it had a fantastic leading man in Kim Myung Min. But this show did me so dirty with that ending. What kind of ending is that?!?!

Also watched the Korean movie The Beauty Inside. Interesting concept. Didn’t sweep me off my feet though.

The past month has been dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic; it’s affecting all aspects of my daily routine and consumption habits. I had even had to take  a mandatory 5-day MC at the start of the month because I displayed flu-like symptoms. To exacerbate things, it lasted till right before the start of circuit breaker.

Listening: to mrbrown’s daily podcast episodes since circuit breaker. Not much by way of music.

Watching: Forest of Secrets aka Stranger. Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doona are so good. Plus the writing is sharp and keeps viewers on their feet. Also watching Ozark (still on the first season) and it’s exciting and thrilling!

Watched The IT Crowd. I’ve always known it was a cult favourite and watched it on Netflix out of curiosity, and now I’m hooked! Each season only has 6 21-minute episodes and there’re 4-ish seasons in total, which makes the whole show a breeze to watch. All the characters on that show are so weird and wonderful, and that’s what makes it a great show.
