He lifted his gaze to watch the other as he responded, knowing full well that he hadn’t a single clue of what he was talking about. “Really, now,” he said, raising a brow at him. “You think I’m right? So you’re also agreeing with the fact that marriages are largely a waste of time because one or both of the spouses are totally douchebags?”
He finally switched on, not allowing his mind to wander away from the words that Gabe was speaking. He tongue stuck out slightly, lower lip dampening in thought. “I mean —” he begun, his head shaking. “No, that’s not true at all man. My parents have been married for forty years and they’re still as in love as ever, its because breakups are so romanticised these days that it just—” he shrugs a shoulder, words trailing off.
